They sure are beautiful! They have great lines. The color combination is perfect. The machining of all the aluminum parts is phenomenal. They are bringing a fantastic Heli to the market. Hey! Nothing wrong with a MCPX! Great little Heli. Thank you, I appreciate that!

Don't tell anybody, but I love building Helis even more than flying them. And next to building helis, I love to watch a good Build video!👍 Yesterday the starter died in my 16 foot runabout boat, and my wife and I had to paddle it across the lake to the docks.👎 Catching up on Your builds videos while resting in the AC in my easy chair... that is what I needed today! 🙂 Thanks!

@@sheffandjelley i honestly do as well lol I really enjoy building, wiring, setup all that good stuff! I find it very relaxing lol that sucks! No way to start it with out the starter? My old gator boat (15ft V hull Jon boat) I would use a rope to start it if the starter went out. I’m glad you are catching up on the videos! Thank you!

I was actually the same way. I wasn’t too sure how it would look as in the pictures. It didn’t look the best. But it looks even better in person! You could just get the canopy and boom and converted back-and-forth lol or build too that’s always a great option!

I had to add a little lube on the front canopy standoff on my gemini so they would "easily" slide thru the canopy grommets

@@javierarroyo7095 I add 3:1 silicone oil to all my canopy grommets to help with coming on and off and help the grommets last a lot longer. Makes a huge difference.

Your review left me wanting one Jeff. So I bought one in the week & have just started the build it 👍 You mention 3D printed clips any links to those or were they your own design?
@scottdearmond55324 ай бұрын
Jeff, another build under your belt, looks amazing, what type or antimony of solder do you use ? My rc boat guy had some solder joints melt on the esc, so I recommend a higher melting point solder to him. Years ago Bixby was the first person to get the hull of the BJ42 to do more than 💯 without flipping over backwards, 106mph 😮 he used a 1,900 kv motor from the stock 1,350kv which is only good for 85mph, on “good day” 😂 😊
@westhobbiesrc80514 ай бұрын
Thank you! I appreciate it, so personally I use a 6040 solder. Resin core. Just regular solder non-lead free. I’ve seen guys have solder joints let go but I would bet 9/10 times it’s a cold joint. I think I know the boat guy you are talking about as I watch his videos from time to time. And he uses a torch which does work, but the problem is you are rapidly heating and cooling the thing off and it doesn’t give time for the solder to wick Into the joint, which will cause a cold solder joint, even though it holds. I’ve pulled well over 400 A many times and never had a joint let go.

@@westhobbiesrc8051 I think that was the best flying Heli I've seen to date. Especially how you were explaining it, as "This is not even tuned! Just rock solid off the fresh build." That IS super impressive. I have my work cut out for me on what 700 Sized Heli I'm going to buy when it comes time. I'm hoping they have more canopy color choices, or at least a clear canopy option from them or someone else. The Red is nice, but I like more color choices than just one.

Hi Jeff, do you need a swashplate leveler tool , and is it supplied in the kit ? If not how did you level the swashplate ?
@westhobbiesrc8051Ай бұрын
@@r7_guy941 no swash plate tool is supplied with any kit (that I know of) no, I never use them. I can look at a swash and tell if it’s level or know but there is a bunch of ways. The manual tells you measurements from servo to swash, swash to head and that works great for making sure it’s level.
