Bit unkind on international golfers. The WHS system is flawed and full of vanity handicaps. Randy single figures? Oh come on, he shanks it all over the planet. Played many times here in Scotland with our US cousins mostly in St Andrews and still amazes me when they declare single figures and truly are awful ball strikers that really can’t get it around with any kind of golfing IQ. Says more about US Club golf than it does international golfers adopting a laughable handicap system.

re: KVV referring to Clifton Park as "a dog track" Clifton Park is a gem. Yes it has a couple lousy holes and a couple more mediocre ones, but there's a bunch of good holes as well. It's a fairly easy and fun course, has fantastic history, and the course conditions are nearly as good as whatever local club Van Valkenburg belongs to with probably 5% of the greenskeeping budget. What gives Clifton a subpar rep is douchey middle age white guys like Van Valkenburg cracking about broken bottles and needles on the course (BTW, not sure I've ever seen either) out of one side of their mouth while waxing poetic about "The Wire" and the gritty side of Baltimore out the other...
