Wow, I remember a flash across my windscreen a few years back, got out of the truck and yes a Goldcrest, I put it in a burger box in the warm of my cab, Later on it came to life, and I returned it to the place I had found it, not before I spent 5 minutes with it perched on my fingers, A beautiful bird, Thankbyou again Trond 🌅🌅🌅

Fabulous vid buddy and a great tactic for all wildlife eh... One of my favourite birds and sometimes you get a firecrest too when you are looking for the goldcrests. Spot on shots and footage as always my friend and looking forward to the editing vid, all the best JP....

Excellent! Really enjoyed the journey! The Goldcrest is wonderfully similar to the Golden-crowned Kinglet in North America....It is a bird of black spruce bogs here. Outstanding images!

Very nice once again Trond! We have those here too and we call them Kinglets, the golden crowned variety. We also have the Ruby Crowned Kinglets also..

Hey Trond, Great video!! I really like this type of video. Adding the view of the image on the back of the camera and then the finished image is a great touch. Kinda like being there with you. I am so anxious to have our Fall birds arrive! Wonderful stills! As always... Sayin' hey.... Greg

It might be because Trond uses a call and gets photos of the birds and the thumbs down guy doesn't use s call and doesn't get the shots lol

We have a Ruby and Golden crowned kinglets here in North America. I think these are in a very close family to your goldcrest

Hi! I use Nikon D500 camera and 500mm f4 for the bird. And I use Panasonic GH4 and gopro for vlogging.

I do both landscape and nature. Im learning that Wildlife photography is something that takes massive patience. And often disappointment. You nailed it brother. How do you like that pop up? I'm thinking of getting one for my pack. The bigger hunting ones are just to cumbersome with all the gear to hike with.
