@@OnlyLilynn44 It's true. I also got an autograph in 88. I don't think I could forget seeing him on Rodeo Drive. I was 15 and I remember hearing the news of his arrest around a week prior to spotting him walking in LA with his ankle monitor on. I ran up to him and asked him to sign my belieber lunchbox. He said he liked my braces and I cried. I still have the lunchbox to this day. I got my braces off in 89 and I told my dentist at the time to put the wire from em in a little box for me to take home as a memento, which I still have. I don't know why anyone would accuse you of lying. I guess they're just jealous that they didn't get to meet him. RIP We love you Justin, gone but never forgotten.

It's crazy actually, remembering how people predicted that Justin won't be as good as him performing with his band. Then 1985 came, and Justin released this solo album. And I tell ya, people went crazy about it. I remember my sister literally bought the album the first day it came out. She told me that she almost died asphyxiating when she was queueing in the line because of the so many people in it. I eventually interested in hearing it (because of my sister) and when I heard it, it was the most beautiful song I've ever heard in my whole life. I remember going into his first concert in '86 with my sister. It was a blast. The people were "rioting" inside the concert hall. I was 16 at that time. In '94, I married my fiancée. And this is my wedding song. Since then, we're living a happy life. It's 2022 now. 37 years after his solo album, and 18 years since his death. Even after that long time, I'm still listening to this song. Unfortunately, my wife can't be here with me as she died from a cancer in 2013. Wish she still here with me :( Rest In Peace, Legend! 1962 - 2004 You'll be deeply missed. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. Edit : Because this comment is now buried by other comments, I just wanna say, thank you for the likes, this is the most likes I've ever got. And for the comment section, keep the multiverse comments running. Now I must depart, for another adventure that awaits me. Hope we can meet each other again sometimes. Goodbye.

Back in 1975, I remember seeing him at the Bleachers with his Football fellas every day. He wasn't a player, but he was so popular among everyone. The guys respected him, the girls loved him. Teachers adored his charms. Everything changed when he left to Catholic Private School and he had to leave his band. But man, this guy sure exploded after going solo, the charts were off the roof. I wished I had said hi to him those times. My friend Mindy was in class 201 with him, Biology. And she'd tell me stories on how she'd wind up making drawings of him and got caught one time, but the teacher never exposed her haha. In 85 when this came out, everyone was crying. School even made a tribute to him. We were proud. I even Lost my virginity to my first love to one of his songs from the "Gomez, Dances, Pyramids?" Album. Truly iconic. I wish i.could back in time. Life was so simple. Sad what happened to this kid, he was an icon. R.I.P The Bieba feva boy of the 70's, and the groover spacer man of the 80's bringing the groove and the moves straight from space itself. We will always love you Jay.B

Fun fact! The vocals for this song was actually sung when Just Bieber Sr was 14. 9 years before his 1985 album. That’s why the vocals are a lot more high pitch than his other songs. The story goes that he wrote and sung this song for a girl he had a crush on back in high school on his cassette recorder. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to get to profess his love for her when she suddenly left his high school. So the recording has been collecting dust in his home since. Until he and his producer rediscovered it while looking through his song drafts and recordings. The producer instantly loved it and wanted Justin to do a re-recording. But Justin insisted to keep the original vocals as it better illustrated the “naive, young love that he once had”.

I've met Justin Bieber back in Live Aid 85' when I've worked as a stage tech. He told me how he just got a major recording contract and that I could do the same if I put my heart into it. He was an opening act and was very humble about it. He than talked about how he was more excited for Queen since he was also a huge fan. Even though Freddie Mercury stole the show that night, Bieber was still happy to be on that same stage. Later that night, him and I got a picture with Mercury and they wishesd each other good fortune and more importantly, great health. It was truly a heart warming sight to see. Even though he became one of the greats, I've learned from many people what I already knew; he was kind, greatful, humble, and light hearted. Such a great kid! It's unfortunate that we've lost him due to his internal struggles but at least I now know that Heaven has gained another angel for it's choir. Justin Bieber R.I.P. 1962-2004 ♥️👼♥️

This song was released during my sophomore year back in 85 everyone in my High School was so excited and this song would be ultimately the reason on how I met my soon to be wife, we're both sophomores and loved this song together. We both even went to see Justin preform live back in 86 and I'll forget that moment where both me and my wife kissed and held hands. During senior year of 87 this was also played during prom night such a beautiful moment when both me and my wife were slow dancing to this song and eventually we would both marry in 94 and this song would also be played in our wedding. Thank you so much Justin Beiber for making this beautiful masterpiece, seriously it lead me to find me my true love of my life and that has since been with me for almost 30 years. One that fateful day back in 2004 both me and my wife cried and we just remembered playing this song through the whole day. R.I.P 1962-2004

Does anybody remember when he did that duet with Elton John when Elton was struggling to sing? Such a caring singer. He always cared about others' careers more than his own. Still, what a great song from my childhood! We miss u Biebs 💖😭

He was considered a very close and personal friend of Freddie Mercury. He'd also visit Brian May and do a few jamming sessions into the wee small hours.

I still remember the time when he had rumours with Madonna. People thought it was crazy because Madonna was too old to date him. His personal life almost took the best of him. But he still pulled himself back and gave us legendary songs. Professionalism at its best. RIP Beibs 😭🤧🤧 I wish him and Elton had more duets together. They could still dominate the charts the way they did back in the '80s 😫😫😫

This original version is so good... can’t believe Justin Bieber’s son tried to remake it in 2010🤢 He will never be like his father ✋🏻 R.I.P Justin Bieber 1962-2004 never forgotten. I’ll never forget the day my husband proposed to me and danced to this song in ‘87❤️
