@Thanos Motion Electronics Hi Thanos 3 of us who had issues with the Rs Mega kit all found that the parameter PN-83 was set wrong for our countries it should be set to 200 but they all arrived set to 100 could this damage the drives? And could this cause issues on the system? Is it possible to let Eracing lab know their drives are being sent with the wrong alarm parameter PN-83 because this is an alarm so it’s there for a reason so setting it incorrectly seems strange to me

@@Simlife101 this parameter, only indicates what is the lowest voltage threshold that the Low-voltage alert will be asserted. It's not setting the operating voltage. Even if you set it on 100v will still use 220v if you supply such. But in some cases for critical equipment that needs to work on certain voltage if the voltage drops can mean not enough power can be supplied from the mains outlet and should result in alarm to prevent damage in wiring from over currents. So, no, nothing like that parameter can contribute to issues you may have. Could have been just a bad batch of drives from the factory, in which case you could contact eracing-lab for replacement or advice.

@@Simlife101 also, all these new white drives ship nowdays with pn83 set to 100, as they used in countries with either 110v or 220v mains, and has not been a problem.

Hello i was checking all those parameters The first 3 servos were correct The last one was on Pn 09 not -300 but was set on -225, so i changed this amd press set, then i got the letters DONE and i got blinking dots... it looks it reprogrammed itself Now i have AL-13 overvoltage error ? Can anybody help me please ?

Thanks for the excellent video Thanos 👌 I just now discovered I have been running my 3 x PT Monsters at 5000 Rpm instead of 3000 (Pn51) for past 18 months. I was told that everything was set correctly at Shao's factory prior to shipping. Do you think it possible the higher Rpm setting will have caused degradation of the servo motor life or any other damage ?
@tronicgr2 жыл бұрын
No, just causes snappier movements, perhaps a bit overshoot too on long runs if you don't have on the spike filter to slow down.
@Mark_Blanes2 жыл бұрын
@@tronicgr Ok yes it was definately very snappy in the movements at 5000 !

I'm checking my actuators with this and one is working but with the other three I get flashing dots at the bottom between each letter/number and the last line turns to an 'E' when I press the up/down arrows. --> I just asked this on your discord channel and well.

What do you mean you are checking, what? The video just shows what parameters to enter to be plug a play with AMC-AASD15A controller...

@@tronicgr Thanks, checking that the actuators were moving, got it figured out, Pn-083 voltage setting was wrong (deleted from your Discord).

What is mean by Pn8 = 300 and Pn9 = -300, is these the length of the ballscrew
@tronicgr3 жыл бұрын
No, these mean -300% and +300% max torque limits... above that for a few seconds the driver will stop with alarm
@tronicgr3 жыл бұрын
You set the length of your leadscrew in the AMC-AASD15A LCD menu (stroke and leadscrew pitch)

For the ASDA-A2 / B2 / M / S / A2 series, it is possible to use a programming software called Asda-Soft. Do you know if there is any programming software for the aasd-15a drivers?

The rotation of the actuator by hand is normal for linear actuators. Some actuators that have floor contact use anti-rotation mechanism. See this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJ7GlaKiatGArMk
