I have the thanos4u is there any software to download as there is no screen to see settings? Sorry noob question. I have the Eracing 4u Mega kit and received it last week but I can’t find where to download the software for it or will that be done in sim hub? I’m new to tho so have no idea lol 😊

You did enable the spike filter I'm using Thanos 4u the default is disabled should I enable it?
@tronicgr5 ай бұрын
@@Rezamajedi it gets enabled automatically from the software (SRS or Simhub). Although Simhub has software spike filter limiter that makes softer transition...

@@tronicgrcan you tell me how I change the park height in the thanos 4u? When I plugged everything in for the Eracing labs 4u Mega kit and use the up and down button on the controller to test the motors the rig goes up then comes down as low as it can go then one of the motors makes a loud cracking grinding sort of noise and on two occasions the rig makes a loud thump then I get AL-06 error on the drives can you help as Eracing labs are out of hours as it’s 1am 😅

Hi Thanos! If you chose a smaller stroke than a linear actuator can use, let say, I have a 500mm linear actuator, and I set 400mm, those 100mm will be left where? at the beginning at the end or 50mm and 50mm bottom and top? Is that configurable somehow? Thanks in advance for you time!
@tronicgr2 жыл бұрын
It will be extending 100mm less. The actuator should calibrate its home position by fully retracting and thats its 0mm position.
@andresbalasso61652 жыл бұрын
@@tronicgr so will use from 0 to 500, avoiding the last 100mm at the top as far as I understand

Hi Thanos, if you press force offline, and the actuators are connected to rig and racing, will it be a hard drop as the motors are offline?
@tronicgr3 жыл бұрын
The force offline just ignores motion cues from the PC without closing the connection. It will just move slowly the motors in controlled manner to park position. The function that will make the rig hard drop is the e-stop that will disable the power to the motors, avoid using that except if its real emergency!!

Total newbie question. So, essentially, the heart of the motion sim build is Thanos 6DOF? It is the main interface between the PC via USB, to the motors? (obviously, you need a driver/power supply for each motor still). That really is amazing! Thinking a good start would be to order Thanos and one motor/driver so I could start to wrap my head around all this.
@tronicgr3 жыл бұрын
Yes. The Thanos motion controller (AMC-AASD15A) is the heart of the system. The rest is just servo drives and motors and actuators, that otherwise are just sitting bricks. You can order the AMC-AASD15A motion controller from here: www.thanos-motion.com/products/thanos-amc-controller-rgb-v1-4/

If your running the SFX100 should you set the stroke to 100mm or 150mm as in this video. ?
@tronicgr4 жыл бұрын
For SFX-100, you obviously set the stroke to 100mm

Probably artifacts from asynchronous refresh of the LCD. Happens sometimes if you scroll the lcd menu fast. It's non critical cosmetic bug, which I deliberately not trying to fix as I prefer to give priority to the servomotor control related tasks.
