I’m retired Nassau County (Long Island) PD and am surprised ours were not visible. But most seen here were State Police which is possibly why not. When I drove my first police vehicle in 1967, it had a single red dome on the roof that seemed to flash once a second, making lots of excitement on emergency assignments in heavy traffic, especially in bright sunlight. The siren speaker was fine except when snow packed in making it sound like moaning of a dying cat. I still want to attend this show next year if I don’t assume room temperature first.
