Forming line from column superb, see how the arms and legs snap back into the mark time, shoulders back and heads up! says I am a guardsman and I am the best!

If my life was the same day over and over again like in Groundhog Day the movie, I would love living trooping the colour over and over again. Roaring music, pomp and circumstance, quick marching. I would happily die on such a day.

After listening to this about 5 million times I relived he says "Look at the gap there, they'll have a word about that later" I just noticed when he zooming in on the drum majors they weren't wearing the state dress therefore I noticed it was one of the reversals..

Yup, that is one easy way to see it’s a rehearsal. The drum majors are wearing parade dress, not state dress.

In years to come, your children will tell you in detail all about the day they saw dad, now old and busted, trooping the colour for the Queen. They will have pride and respect in the voice when they tell you. Well done every one.

The best of British. If the UK ever gave up its monarchy, it would become the third world country of Europe. England was a Republic for 11 years during its long history; I can tell you it didn’t work out too well.

Why no.6 guard didn't start marching for 8 paces after no.5 guard's captain had shouted forward ? Is it because they need to reform into position after this left form ?
@semajbronson215 жыл бұрын
If you look at previous videos of Trooping the Colour you will notice No. 6 Guard are facing toward the Massed Bands and they form the L shape formation so that's why there's a Gap between them.
