I live on the north coast of CA and I caught 6 walleye to 25" last week after driving out to Minnesota to fish the season opener. I go to MN several times a year and I'm hooked. Don't let this video mislead you, walleye are usually way harder to catch than this.

It’s a thick walleye for sure, but wasn’t that long maybe 26”-27” if the scale is true it sounds about right for the length. Who knows; pictures/videos never do justice. Still an amazing day of walleye fishing on such a tiny place, and all Of them were on the bigger size.

Now that's one hell of a creek. I have one where I live that is tiny like that one and I've caught 4 pound smallmouth and big largemouth. Plus really big crappie and bowfin or mudfish. We also catfish it at night and catch channel catfish from 2 to 10 pound. It's unreal actually.
