When using NP-Bacto-Balance, does the phosphate test lower or should it still test at 0.03-0.1?

With NP-Bacto-Balance the phosphate test should still test between 0.03 and 0.1 ppm. However the exact level may vary from tank to tank, depending on the organic carbon and phosphate metabolism of the tank.

np plus does not raise phosphate.....it lowers phosphate....because it is an organic composition.....people have many problems with this product.....if in short.....and with your salt tropic marin pro ....a lot of problems....this is what happens when you want to make cheap but sell expensive.....Turkey as an example.....same problem with reef activ product...

First of all: We don’t think that your post is a qualified comment, it's just blaming our brand. We have a comprehensive concept for carbon dosing with different products for every situation. If you have a specific problem, you can contact us to find a solution. To your assertion: If this would be true also feeds would not raise phosphate since of course they are of organic composition too. I think everyone knows that feeds raise phosphate, especially if given in excess. In fact it depends on the C : N : P ratio whether there is a net removal or a net supply of N and/or P. This is exactly what we make use of in our organic carbon dosing products. Reef Actif is a prebiotic and must be seen different. It supports a special beneficial bacterial flora. The positive reactions of corals and even of fish are quite obvious. Used according to instructions it has minor influence on the phosphate concentrations. Both products are established and successful in their function.

@@TropicMarinOfficial no,...these are stories for children I have many real examples and the last one.....a person had a problem with NP plus.... he is from Germany...he contacted tropic marin because he has an acquaintance there......and they couldn't explain why NP plus from 0.03 phosphate made 0.00000 in 2 hours...... if you want, we can talk about you PRO salt
