Our old house here in q.c. was built during the 80's designed by my dad. We have a 50 square m courtyard in the middle. It was an open courtyard before and eventually covered it with a transparent roof bec. Of my moms allergies. I adopted the same concept but a smaller courtyard. Thank you for featuring an old roman concept. Im looking forward of how its going to be. Good luck!

Thanks Arch Ed for the vid. Ito yung inaabangan ko sa mga project nyo, ever since pinakita nyo yung architectural plans & rendering. Yung inner atrium reminds me of Spanish/ French style villas and Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean palaces. Uso talaga noon yung may open space sa gitna for ventilation kc wala pa aircon nun. Accdg to a feng shui practitioner/ architect (Cliff of Dear Modern channel), yung feng shui ay may origins din sa Chinese palaces para yung head of the household ay hindi agad mapatay ng mga kalaban. (Bed or desk is in "command position"). Thnx & will look forward to your future vids.

arch ed, i suppose you won’t keep the walls around the atrium completely open? glass panels around? kung masyado po mainit outside at gusto mo mag aircon, puede mo i seal ang inside kse nka glass panels/doors around the atrium…ganda po…. salamat po dahil sa mga ganitong ideas/posts ninyo, i think madami na cchalenge na maging mas creative na builders/designers sa pinas. not only think of how to maximize revenues but also conscious about how to create homes that are truly functional and efficient

Arch. Ed, since open ang ceiling. At ang Pinas ay lagi nag-uulan, baka magka "algae" or masira ng ulan ang mga walls? Ano po materials kelangan gamitin?

Not a problem po. Half of the year mainit ang weather. Cleaning lang po once in a while to keep the walls looking good.

architect ed saan pala makikita kung anung zoning classification ng lote mo na balak mo ipatayo ng bahay? kc sa deed of sale hindi naman po naka indicate, kung R1 or R2 etc.? salamat po sa sagot

Sa city planning department po ng inyong lugar may map po sila ng zoning tapos may zoning department naman na nag-aapprove ng plans ninyo

Nice 👏. How many square feet is the house? How about the lot? Every time I watch your videos on my tablet or PC, it is in square meters, so for me to understand fully, I have to convert it to square feet.

It is more than 100 sqm in floor area. Lot is around 400 sqm

@@KDFantastichi. If you want a Mediterranean style house, you can check the vids of "My PI Dream". His house is Med style, built several years ago. You'll have to backtrack several years if you want to see his house tour. He also did a vid ( house tour) - of a recently built "modern Mediterranean style" house of his friend who lives in the same subdivision. The vlogger & his friend are both retired foreigners who are married to Filipinas.

@@KDFantastic you're welcome. Both their houses are VERY $$$ nice. The vlogger's house has a half basement since their subdv has height restriction (they wanted a 3-storey house).

looks like 2inches or more yung cement plaster ng wall panels?

@@agasini-euborja yes almost 2". 1" to cover the mesh and another thin layer to smoothen it out
