FYI It's not that small boat engines usually have a rudder. It's that you can steer the boat by changing the direction of the motor hence changing the direction of the propeller. Not sure why they put a handle on the motor if they weren't going to let you steer that way. Seems silly to start off the demo with a sheet of metal that you can turn into a working motor. Would be better if they made it easier to make a basic sail out of palm leaves.

check Game Settings = I think you can adjust the Gamma to brighten the view. range is best when dealing with dangerous critters like panthers or hogs. spears can be thrown to deal damage at range. just remember to keep one in hand for the stabby stabs on crabs.

Watched a few people play this over the past month. It kind of reminds me of a cross between Stranded Deep and Escape the Pacific. Hopefully the release is better than the current state, which I'm sure it will be. I like the crafting menu/book and the graphics are top notch. However, the crafting mechanics are just kind of.... I don't know, wonky? The backpack inventory GUI is awful, and the animals definitely need some work. Obviously, this is a beta version, but I like what I see so far.

You can eat raw seaweed. Many people do. However it's suggested not to eat in large amounts because we cannot break down the type of fiber seaweed has it it could cause health problems.

I’ve seen one other person play this game and he had similar issues with the jaguar! There is also another type of dangerous animal on the island. Not a mammal……..but thankfully not a snake either. Something in between!! I think there are seagulls and crabs that you can hunt and eat. You must be able to do something with that kelp but I can’t remember what. Also look into making a bow. There are a couple more crates on the island such as one right beside that wrecked small boat when you went round the back side of the island onto the small beach. But everything is very difficult to see and the game certainly needs the lighting improved. I’d certainly watch more but I’d also understand if you decided not to!! Hope developers is watching and noting what needs improved.

I'd think to take out the big cat you would need to gather some potassium nitrate, sulfur, charcoal powder then refine, build s smelter, a forge mine and refine steel, find the hidden blueprints for the Gun Crafting, make the gun, make the bullets and if you are still alive go hunting. LOL

if you are having trouble with equipting a tool or weapon, look at the item on the backpack. there will be numbers on them you just have to press the corresponding numbers on your keyboard. So pressing keys 1-3 will bring into your hands the corresponding weapon or item.

If you pull up (down, its a yoke up is down) you can make it to the "starter island" with no or minimal swimming. You can not, at least in my attempts before I just spawned in the water, make it to the "lighthouse island" via plane.

I’m glad you’ve done this video, that shopping one was getting boring fast. The engine for the raft you made, it has a handle and in the real world you would move it like you did the rudder and it would turn. It maybe that the developers haven’t added the code for it to turn yet. It would be a good idea to email them and see if they can do updates while you play and show what’s what as that will make more people watch your videos and want to play their game

It's a bummer that it looks like a lot of other games that are out. Could be cooler if it was at least taking place on a different planet or alternate reality. Some kind of gimmick to make it stand out from the others.

I loves stranded deep. It had so much potential. But they just stopped adding content, which it desperately needed. So i dont really care too much that this game is super similar to stranded deep. If it makes it further in the development cycle than stranded deep did, then this definitely could replace that game for me.

KAGE......you haven't spent much time around boats huh.....that long thing on the motor pointing at YOU is the RUDDER !!! It turns the whole motor which turns the propeller and creates Direction !!!.....lmao, yeah...I'm giving you Crap !!! BUT I love ya Brother so take it with a smile !!!.......it said in the upper right corner at the beginning that the Devs Wanted feedback and there's a place to give it so.....the island with the lighthouse has some supplies in a cave under the lighthouse....so far nobody has been able to get up into that......ask your buddy GE lol .....epic fail, but A for effort was given !!!!!

It is all too common that games want money for a unfinished product, so you get that janky panther and flipping raft. No more early access games for me....imagine buying a truck in early access, and it does not come with wheels....yeah.
