I wonder if they’ll finally put in a good draining system in after this... Probably not because the city just wants tax money and not spend it where it should be spent
@MrRosiesfavorites
@MrRosiesfavorites 3 жыл бұрын
so what do you think they do with tax money? were the main arteries where you live cleared of ice and snow in the winter? do you think that salt is free? does your trash get collected? are firemen and police paid for? are your roads paved or pot holes filled? how much do you think it will cost for GOOD DRAINING systems for areas that are to close to natural waterways? pay more taxes and get all the things you want or reduce taxes and pay for the daily expenses. few big budget killers are done in most cities. for good reason. people hate to pay taxes. if you are a homeowner and need a new roof, would you have the cash on hand if you didn't work to bring in revenue?even so you will more likely budget to get the money or borrow it? lots of businesses and homes are built along waterways. if people are dumb enough to buy them that is on them.

MrRosiesfavorites I sure as hell don’t think the expenses exceed the cost to fill in a hole or throw salt on the road once a year. For fuck sake half the country doesn’t even know what snow is. Also have you even seen road workers? They have about 20 ppl filling in a small pothole, most of the time they’re just standing around doing nothing. As for the rest of the tax money I have no idea where the fuck the millions go. Defund the police I think yes! That alone would save millions and maybe it would make neighbors actually know each other because everyone would look out for each other. Have you ever seen where other countries do community justice? Have you ever seen Africans burn a man alive for rape? What do you think would happen if you saw that here? I think someone would think twice if they knew they could be burnt alive for there actions but instead we live in America where even if you kill 1000 ppl nothing will happen to you, of course you’ll be in prison but as for being burnt alive or community justice nothing like that will ever happen to you. The great America where murders rapist child pedophiles roam the streets. We rely so heavily for everything to be done for us but it’s time we actually involve everyone and do things together instead of corrupt cops or 20 ppl filling in a small pothole. America where cops only job is to catch traffic violations 😂 they should be worried about the thousands of kids that go missing every year for sex trafficking or getting drugs off the street but instead they just sit on the aids of the road waiting for a speeders. It’s fucking pathetic what America has changed into

@@OregonGrower420 my mistake, since this is about philly i assumed you were from philly. philla gets lots of snow. those main roads have to be cleared as soon as possible. many of those tax haters are always the first to complain when we are hit with a storm and the roads are not cleared fast enough. i thought you were one of those 'don't like paying taxes' folk. i was basically informing you that taxes pay for plenty of city and state expenses. they even pay for those highly paid representatives who don't always represent us. i'm referring to state and city taxes.. in pa the average salary of a cop is close to 69000 bucks. i'm ok with that. lots of red states pay much lower. would you put your life on the line for so little pay ? though some are justifiable low because of where they live. some are not getting paid enough. especially in the red states. you are so correct I live in Trinidad it's the first country most of the time that gets the tropical wave 2 days ago I believe that was a tropical depression it had no name Trinidad is closer to Venezuela Dan Tobago yet we are considered the Caribbean anyway most of us in Trinidad I'm building our roofs made out of steel so it's near impossible for the roof to come off I'm the walls are concrete blocks and if you are smart do not have any trees around your house not good today we supposed to be getting a tropical wave they say it was like 12 but now it's 122 and nothing because is Sahara dust lingering Sarah Sahara death is good because it keeps away hurricanes and storms we get no water and we will go into a drought my sister said what her plans were destroyed she live in New York sorry for all these people that's mother nature for it

@nesq4104 3 жыл бұрын
@@vangie1748 yep mother nature. In America also some homes were built for poor working class with bad material. But many newer homes are built to new standards. However standards are only based on the weather pattern you live. NYC is not built for hurricane or earthquake but it's made for snow. When Florida is built for hurricane. California earthquakes. No one is built for tornado really because they RIP up anything

Psalm 91. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague( Including the Coronavirus, Storms, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, etc) that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the LORD, who is my refuge--then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." IT IS WRITTEN. THE WORLD IS ASLEEP! WE MUST TURN FROM OUR WICKED WAYS AND GO BACK TO OUR FIRST LOVE, JESUS CHRIST. HE LOVED US BEFORE THE WORLD HATED US. GOD IS LOVE.
