I love it we are making over our backyard in a tropical theme. With a tiki hut. I really like yours. It’s awesome! But I think you need a stock tank tub. It would fit in perfectly. And they don’t require much room. My daughter is doing one in her yard next summer. Very excited for her. On hot days she can set in her stock tank pool and sip a tropical drink with fancy umbrella and all. Hope you look into it. Not expensive either. And you can get an intex pool pump cheap on eBay. You want need a big one. I can’t remember how many gallons the tank holds. And they do come in different sizes. I think the one my daughter is getting is 8 feet round. Three deep. It’s around 700 gallons. Some people put a little deck around then. It’s so cute! You gave me a ton of great ideas. I hope you like the stock tank pool idea. Leslye

Awesome tropical 🌴 garden! How do they winter over in the 🇬🇧 UK? I would love to do tropical here, unfortunately I live in very hot dry central California. The sun is so intense I have 2 big shade cloths over my backyard just to shade my full sun plants. My yard is quite small, but this summer I hope to have a much prettier garden 🤞🏼, but it will be more of a pot garden, (military) rental house. Last year we seeded grass so at least the yard is green. I left the edges for all my big long rectangular pots to actually have a nice flower garden, I have hummingbirds that visit, so I want to plant flowers they can drink from besides the hanging feeders. Thanks for the video, your yard, and the Tiki bar are so nice. Do you bring in a lot to over winter? 💜🌺🌸

The big leaf that you lifted on your calm coleus plant the third one on the film if you remove that leaf it would have given more light to the leaves underneath and it would have gotten bigger. When they start to turn like that and say it's time to remove them so that they quit blocking the sunlight of the rest of the plant. I usually have about 50 coleus plants by the end of the season. In the spring when I buy them I take as many cuttings off of them as I can and put them in water if it's not near a full moon I put a little plastic over top of them to help keep the humidity in. I don't know whether you can buy this product called soil moist in the UK. Soil moist as a great product it is a polymer that's in Crystal form. You added to your potting soil and it absorbs excess water and extra water and holds it in reserved for when the soil dries out. It's great in potted plants and it's great in the ground. It never makes the soil soggy because it absorbs all the water that's in excess. I mentioned this product because when I plant my water rooted cuttings in soil I always make sure I had these crystals to the pot they're going to be in. Sometimes I reuse the soil and my pots and I forget that I already added Crystal soil moist the year before. It doesn't make the soil so I'll be the only thing that happens is if we get a heavy rain it looks like I'm growing clear chunks of Jell-O in my pot. The coleus plants in a coleus cuttings love soil with soil moist in because they don't like to dry out. I use it at all my pots and I use it and the ground what I plant my plants whether their perennials annuals shrubs soil moist goes in the ground with all of them. It can last for 5 years or maybe even longer. Babies disposable diapers have a polymer in it but that polymer is gooey they stick together it's not in Crystal form. I have taken a baby's diaper apart and use it at the bottom of a whole life planted my vegetables in but it's too gooey to use in flower pots. I think the reason why it sticks together is if a baby's pamper got ripped you wouldn't want little chunks of Jell-O like substance that is falling out of it so they cling together. The polymer crystals in soil moist don't cling to each other they keep their shape and that enables the roots to grow through them. I also think that it helps the expansion and contraction of the crystals as they absorb and release the water help aerate and loosen the soil. At the end of the season when the Frost has killed my coleus and I pulled a dead coleus plant out of the soil the crystals have have Roots attached to some of them because the roots know where to go to get a good drink of water. I think it would be good for people that over water their plants to use the soil moist crystals in their potting soil because it doesn't let the plant rot. I think it's the best invention ever. The artist in you have designed perfect Tropical Paradise in your backyard. I can't pick a favorite Channel on KZbin dealing with plants but I'll tell you what you're in my top five and if I had to pick a number one it might just be yours and believe me I watch a lot of plant channels. I have over 30 orchids and probably close to a hundred house plants and hundreds of outside plants.
