Wow! This is truly amazing. Definately one of the best tropical gardens Ive ever seen. Im in Collie Western Australia and constructed a massive shadecloth closed in area for mine as the frost would have killed them otherwise. I dont have overhead trees or large trees unfortunately. Bare back yard when I moved here 4 yrs ago so will take time for my trees to grow. I still find it incredible that the overhead foilage protects the plants from the snow in England. Anthony really knows what hes doing to achieve this☺
@tikitropicals654 ай бұрын
Hi and thank you. The garden would still Be exposed to the cold and snow but a lot of the taller trees will take the worst of it a bit like an umbrella. Also plant choice is key picking a large percentage of plants that can take the cold. Cheers.

What is he feeding those plants?! Even the hostas and brugmansia look pristine, not a single ravaged leaf. How on earth has he achieved this its a triumph. Superb example of a lush tropical jungle vibe garden in England ❤🌴👍
@tikitropicals654 ай бұрын
Hi and thank you. I don’t think he has any special treatment for the slugs and snails. I think more than anything it’s time and effort checking on plants and keeping everything clean. The plants are also loving the dappled shade conditions and are well selected for these conditions. Cheers.

How do these plants survive the winter? Does this area not have freezing temperatures? Beautiful garden.
@tikitropicals6529 күн бұрын
Hi. Yes it does get freezing temperatures. Most of the plants can take the cold and some are brought into a heated greenhouse for winter. It’s about finding plants that look real tropical but have evolved in colder climates so they can survive our winters and then add a few really tropical plants to complement the look. I have a few gardens like this on my channel including my own. Cheers.
