Tropico is one of my most favourite games of all time and I only played Tropico 5 and 6. They did a really good job on these games! Suchtfaktor on this game is 💯

I was looking for a youtuber with a tropico 6 let's play, and yours is complete in an entire video, so good. I'm thinking to buy tropico, it's on sale i believe, but have quite a few DLCs, can you give advice which are worth the money? Mostly have mixed reviews, but I really wanted to experience the full tropico vibe, and don't be limited, unless the DLCs don't add that much

6:19:16 Reminds me when i worked as hotel receptionist. Usualy on my way to work, when i was going around the hotel towards employee enterance, i could already see the buses lined up and hordes of tourist in dire need to quickly check-in and go to their rooms. It was usualy at least 5 or 6 buses and around 150-200 people. Issue is you usualy need to scan passports into the system, particular data get send every morning to police as report. The penalty for having invalid or even no data is very serious here, no decent hotel/receptionist will skip this. I dont miss it, i tell you that much.

I never knew that hotel staff had to inform the police on who was in a hotel. I always thought it to be some crazy bureaucratic rule.

@@Solvas-m2h This is probably determined by local laws but where i live (EU and even inside EU the local laws can be very different), its mandatory obligation of any accommodation facility. The Idea behind is first of all safety of customers/guests (if anything happens, the hotel can provide basic information to the police or other state organisations like hospitals) and ofc police runs those list through their databases, if there arnt any internationaly or localy prosecuted people. Thats why there is big penalty if you dont provide the data. Ofc lot of criminals would have cover identity but not all criminals are geniuses you know from Holywood movies and crime shows.

Nice long play! Really enjoyable to watch with your commentaries. I know it is really late and the game has been done like 3 years ago, but the homeless problem looks like because there is no cheap housing available. The homeless seem to be poor and apartments are more like middle-class housing in Tropico. Hope you do another longplay again!

Seems like the PC version on the hardest settings is infinitely easier than the console version. I always see 40%+ exports as well as buildings just generally producing more to the point where on the PC money never ever becomes an issue. 10,000$ per load in the colonial age is just ridiculous, on the console you're lucky to get 3,000-4,000 per load while having every single industry running with maximum uptime.

love this game but ididnt play since release months... now i look at the £100+ to buy the dlc's and never feel motivated for it. i like to play full games not lacking huge content. hope next big sale hits when i actually have money and its big enough to get them all aha

Is complaining about not enough workers and money something integral to Tropico ;) ? I am wondering, could you do something different to at least not run into the worker shortage ( which then ofc drives money shortage...) constantly ?
