(part 3 of 3 comments, this is final one) so, in this manner, the author wrote down all his scientific and/or mystical knowledge, and was completely safe by keeping the book in his library for anyone to see. If the Inquisition came by snooping around, he wouldn't have a worry. He could just say "oh that book is from a far away land, but nobody here knows the language. I just keep it cause I collect books" He doesn't have to hide a big book. He only has to hide one piece of parchment, the key

This book is of Roma-origin and was written in a proto-Romani language which was based on an extinct language from Sindh-region in either India or Pakistan and used elements from Landa Khojki-script and proto-Devanagarian. The knowledge portrayed relates to primitive medicine with herbs, women's menstrual cycles and fertility periods, ancient Vedic astrology based on the lunar calender complete with primitive starcharts for nighttraveling in desert areas & various hints for trading and where to obtain travelpermits & citygate entry passes at certain areas.

who numbered some of the pages? The ink looks the same as the writing in the book and also doesn't match the number of pages it's at in the book. ex: page number 88 is actually pages from 150-160 Its a secret Banking code book from the Templar Knights.

This and other documentaries I've seen would be allot better without the 'sound effects' from scene to scene. It's not needed and detracts from the video. Documentaries don't need special effects to make them interesting.

Over 70 words and names gleaned using a new transcription alphabet indicate constructions of an old Finno-Ugric origin with a substantial amount of Old Norse. In addition, there is a distinct Slavic influence. The pages depict female heliocentric star charts resembling Nordic brooches. They also depict kolovrats, octagrams, sauna/banya, torcs, a seidr staff, the sun cross symbol, intercalary year, red conical roofs, onion domes, plants from the northern hemisphere, a landscape resembling the Ruskeala marble caves, zaftig fair blond women, a Permic-like lizard of the underworld, the pike of Tuonela, and runic glyphs (comparable to those found in Icelandic magic books). All of this points to core elements of north European culture that can be found in Scandinavian, Finno-Ugric, north Germanic, and to some extent Celtic traditions. These belief systems go back thousands of years. More here: voynichbirths.blogspot.com

When Leonardo was mentioned in this documentary, I rolled my eyes. Yes he was a polymath, a fantastic artist, delved into the sciences, all of that. But come on! Why try to include Leonardo in every mystery including the Voynich Manuscript? It's just ridiculous.

I think I know why they can't decode it. It's an unbreakable code, used by creating an entirely new language. The process is long and tedious, but if you have enough dedication (to not be labeled a heretic by the Inquisition), and time on your hands, you can do it. Basically, you create a new word, completely gibberish, for every real word in your language. This way, the ONLY way to solve it, is with the Cypher List. For example, This = Utterio Code = Mim Is = Utteria Unbreakable = Utas

(continued) so, it would be completely impossible to decipher it using singular letters in an alphabet, because that is not how the code works. The code replaces entire words. It would also be impossible to look for patterns in vowels or structure in known languages, because once again, the code made up fake words that are complete gibberish. The only way to solve it, is to have the Key that tells you what each word means. This way, the code will forever be unbreakable until find the List.
@DrWrapperband
@DrWrapperband Жыл бұрын
There is no coded language. I agree with the theory that the book is a religious artefact, made by Nuns about 1420 Germany / North Italy. The language works as a chanting manual, probably as part of promoting woman's health. There is no other language or cryptography, or accuracy across authors - It works well a set of phonetic chants..

I was convinced that this is a fake book written long ago as a hoax for profit but now after watching this documentary I don't know what to think. Whatever the case the drawings give me a creepy feeling for some reason being an artist (as a hobby) myself. I say that not even because of the drawings of naked female bodies in the bath or on that star chart. I just get a funny vibe from the mood of the drawings like they were a homely person living in a world of fantasy. Who ever did this (assuming its one person) was a much better scripter than artist. Able to write the whole 200 page book with some thousands of characters without the appearance of any mistakes anywhere in the book.

Quote: "...a homely person living in a world of fantasy" feels just so anachronistic. The manuscript may have been, as the documentary alludes, designed to simply give an impression of esoteric meaning or, is an herbal or medicinal (midwifery?) tome written in a precise method to keep its contents hidden. We know that whoever produced it had the means to obtain the parchment, the ink pigments and is suspected to have resided in northern Italy at the time of its composition. The documentary assumes the manuscript was created by a man, but it could have been devised by a woman, which might explain the need for the author to write in code. Nuns and daughters of wealthy families were highly literate and both would have had the time and the means to create such a work, but would have been dangerous to have done so. Perhaps there is a Rosetta Stone for the manuscript hidden somewhere in one of those old fortress castles with the swallow tail battlements. I love how the book is referred to as a hall of mirrors, open to the interpretation of whoever explores it.

It's highly unlikely to be a hoax considering that it has almost all the characteristics of a natural language and even follows Zipfs law even though that concept hadn't been discovered yet. My gut instinct combined with all the research I've done leads me to believe that it's one of (if not the only) remnant of a culture long since forgotten by history.

Kesian aku tengok org camtu, kesian.. nabi pesan elakkan berdosa dengan manusia. Nampaknye ramainye akan melutut jumpa aku kiamat nanti. Dari mane aku tahu sape yg buat salah dgn aku , aku tak akan dedahkan . Kalau aku dedahkan, die tak dapat tau lagi ape yg orang cakap pasal aku. Aku pun tak akan pegi jumpe orang tu. Nabi yg pesan. Semoga kite jumpa kiamat nanti, Semoga kite jumpa kiamat nanti, Semoga kite jumpa kiamat nanti, amin amin amin, Ya robbal Alamin. Ya robbal Alamin Ya robbal Alamin.
