I know the feeling. Got a Triang set for christmas. And being old now use much to much money on vintage and new model trains. I have of course bought the set I had as a child on line

This was most wanted set; always remember seeing it in the catalogue. Must have and finally after many years achieved as an adult what most wished for a child. Well always a child at heart. Great to see the set in such fine condition. Looks so good as 4 to 6 coach train.. excellent

I have a slightly earlier version of this set from 1979, it has three coaches the loco and the crossing, but the other bits are missing. I bought it as a non runner and fixed it up to raise money for charity, I had it at a toy fair for £75 which I thought was a pretty fair price, but had no takers. I tried again at the next toy fair and dropped the price to £65 and still no takers. Visually it is in perfect condition, the motor runs well and the lamps on the front work, am I being unreasonable?

Hi as long as it has track and train controller and box and works,it not unreasonable at all,this set if prob around £90-120 mark , just keep trying it will sell for sure 👍👍👍
