I have a bag full of PXG clubs, but my current 3-Wood is the TM RBZ 3-Wood that is about 12 years old and is the longest 3-Wood I've had.... I am now about to make the change from the TM RBZ to the Stealth Plus 3-Wood... because it looks to be the only new 3-Wood that can significantly out distance my OLD BBZ 3-Wood. Great Video!

@@simonshotter8960 My upgrade from the 12 year old TM RBZ to the Stealth Plus 3-Wood last year has proven to be a GOOD decision. It took a few rounds to get used to the feel of the new Stealth Plus 3-Wood, but it does indeed out perform the old 3-Wood about 15 yards.

Great vid. However, I always wonder when it comes to price and the turnover TM has with new product, if they lowered the price wouldn’t they have existing customers keep up with current models each year and have lower prices than other companies to bring new customers v. Higher and higher prices that could make players turned off to upgrading especially if the testing vids don’t show much improvement especially since the customer base are below to average players.

I use a sim max 3 wood currently. I have had it since Oct 2020. I am finally able to hit the club and the head snaps off at the range. It’s now back with Taylor made, was sent back yesterday. Hopefully they can fix it up or just re shaft it. Otherwise I’m going to get fitted for a sim max 2 or stealth. Love these videos. Thanks for the info!

Hi trottie, I have just purchased a stealth plus titanium 3 wood 13.5 degree. It’s looks super but there is a tiny small hole in the middle of the clubface. I have seen a few of these tiny holes on other 13.5s but none on the 15 degree models. Do you know if the 13.5 comes with a tiny hole in the face? Write back thanks

@@trottiegolf off a member from my club, seen a few 13.5’ lofts online and a KZbin vid with the same tiny hole smack in the middle of the the club face. Not sure what to think atm because I haven’t hit it yet

Hi Trottie, big fan, thanks for the video! I have to tell you how disappointed I am that for the second year in a row I would have bought the forgiving 3hl version of your yearly flagship release if it had the interchangeable neck sleeve for fitting. The only shaft option I have for testing at my local well equipped golfshops is a loose light whippy regular flex 50gram shaft. And the nect is glued. Even the rep doesn't have a universal adapter to change shafts for the Stealth fairway wood. Like you guys would have earned about $700 from me as a golfer in these past 2 years, if only you had the interchangeable sleeve in your fairways. Ping has it, Titleist has it, Srixon has it and Cobra has it. Makes me so frustrated to watch these types of videos of you saying test your shaft and go on the course, we cant do that without buying the club first. I hope you could tell the executives in your performance review how your brand would be better come Stealth 2 launch to have all the fairways have all the shaft options to test in fittings around the globe. Thanks!

Trotie great video I have been waiting for this one I have the original sim 3 and 5 max woods with just stock shafts love the 5 but 3 just isn’t doing it for me So looking for a new one. This stealth might be the one Also love the shaft linQ purple 6F4 got it fitted in my driver In your professional opinion think I should look into getting it in the stealth as well for 3 wood? I took my shaft and put it in the stealth driver felt good but need more testing was only like 15 degrees outside lol Let me know what you think

Another great TTT gem Chris - thanks as always for posting! I’ve never really got on with a 3wood … prefer my 2 hybrid (18deg SLDR with an 80g shaft) which I know is virtually an antique but still works for me , so haven’t changed it yet. Will TM be making a Stealth hybrid with 18-19 deg loft? If so could you do something similar to todays vid cos it would certainly be more relevant and might tempt me to send the SLDR to the TM rest home for retired hybrids 👨🏻‍🦳 Cheers H

The Max works way better for you. Maybe stab the shaft into the Stealth. Then compare. Apples to apples. The Stealth was all over the place. The Max was hitting it's mark consistently. And longer. You can probably work a nice spinny fade into a green with it too.

Initial thoughts on the Stealth were positive, feel and sound were exactly what I’m looking for in a driver. Would be curious to try out the 3 wood and see if it would have a spot in the bag. Generally struggle with consistency and find more success with a driving iron, especially as a fairway finder. But great stuff as always on #tourtrucktuesday ! @therealzengarden
