I think we are at the point where a lot of the changes are miniscule. The stealth is a great driver, it FEELS much better than the sim, but in reality it gives almost the same numbers. I don't think there's much driver difference in results. Same with the fairways, they are just kinda small changes and small looks differences. We probably need to be better at resisting the marketing hype.

I have seen a few of these tiny holes on other 13.5s but none on the 15 degree models. Do you know if the 13.5 comes with a tiny hole in the face? Write back thanks

How would you compare this stealth plus to the RBZ Stage 2 TS Tour 13? I love the low launch and low spin of that club. I play it at 11.5 degrees. No carbon face? That’s interesting - I would have thought they would have done carbon face in the rest of the woods and hybrids this year.
@That1Carson2 жыл бұрын
I believe a major issue would be the carbon wearing away extremely fast due to dirt and grit getting between the ball and face at contact. Carbon scratches extremely easily and the wood would probably be "burnt out" after far less shots than titanium.
@markheard22742 жыл бұрын
@@That1Carson Probably less to do with durability and more to do with a carbon face that small just won't spring as well as the larger driver face. They're going to wait and see how the driver faces perform and then tweak the smaller faces from there.

one thing that helped me was when i realized the optimal hit with a fairway is -2 degree loft atk angel. i awlays that it was 0 or +1 pretty much. so i changed my hand grip and stance for little more steep angel. and its been working whole last year. so its inbetween a iron swing and driver swing.

@@JoshGeorgeReel when u hit the low its not becous u take to much loft off but u hit it thin or very low on the fairway. if u hit a fairway with compressed swing and -6 loft it still gonna pop up like a rocket. so most likely u using to much driver thought instead of iron. if you compress a ball with a iron its going up it does not need help. same with fairway :) dont be afraid to compress the fairway swing

I'd love to see TM make a NON-PLUS (non player) version of their fairways where the face isn't closed. I think there is a huge market for a high MOI fairway wood with a neutral face for single digit players. And yes, they are always shut, year after year. Maybe put an adjustable lost sleeve on the non-plus. Last year the fitting club of the SIM2 non-Ti fairway had a screwed on hosel like the Ti, and it was ONLY for fitting carts so diff shafts could be tested.. I saw guys buying them from sitters just to get a SIM2 non-Ti with adjustability. ALSO, for $430 USD, put a premium shaft in the players version. AGAIN this year the players model has a MADE-FOR shaft in the HZRDUS RDX Red. I get the sense that the High Launch High Spin model was chosen because the red color compliments the red decor on the head.
