Same with mine but i figured it out buddy i hope you understand the the fx system its a pain in the ass it took me a long time to figure it out and i still have problems best advice i can give you is to try to center your barrel best you can and leave it alone after that have fun with it may want to use some blue loctite small amount on jam nut not alot small amount good luck bro have fun watch your leaks its love hate relationship with fx impact m3 in my case it is donno why but it is 😅

You could see the barrel wasn’t in far enough as you could see loads of the steel in front of the brass actually out of your breach, hence why locating lugs weren’t locked in.

My Mk 2 Impact with the Regulator at 200 bar has got so badly fouled its lost accuracy at >100 yards. I have not been able to get the barrel clean even after 50 patches.

If youre shooting anything over 500mm barrel length, you have to stiffin/stabilize the barrels on any FX platform! And detune the harmonics. Duhhhh

I just got a slug liner and the carbon sleeve. So hopefully everything should be set now
@eddiecahall3824 Жыл бұрын
@@longrangescience ya I understand that Sir. I figured as much. If your thinking about powering up, you have to stabilize the barrel more and get some of the harmonics takin care of as well. I own a few and my friends have some as well. You have to research thorough or talk to a tuning professional on it. I would suggest contacting Matt Dubber somehow or someone like that knows how to squeeze them out with power. It's unlikely throwing on the parts and shooting trying to figure things will work, b cuz it doesn't. I'm just trying to steer you in the right direction b cuz you chose an FX model. The AGT or Uragan models are less headache as well as a few others.

Ironically FX's Achilles heel is their adjustability in my humble opinion. I run a standard 700mm barrel in my M3 and using 30gr .218 H&N slugs @985fps. Using 68 year old eyes and a rickety UTG bipod, it will print 15mm groups at 100m ( 109 yards) all day long. No stiffeners no tuners, no rails and other after market rigid frame things etc. So when you find a happy medium, stop fiddling. BTW I also have a Weihrauch HW100 with a 600mm barrel. Just one grub screw and a simple barrel band, and it too is incredibly accurate. You don't need to stiffen a 500mm barrel unless you're hanging a very heavy moderator on it.

Man to bad your first outing was ruined by someone not putting your rifle together properly. I own 2 fx air guns one being an M3 and love them. Know them inside and out. If you don’t know the rifle well it can be frustrating to fix the issues. Especially on a brand new gun. I went to your shooting video and your rifle clearly sounded goofy. Like you said the barrel was not seated properly letting air poof out of the breach. Also causes mag loading issues. Im still confused why they gave you that barrel band right in front of the breach. It’s doing absolutely nothing where it is. They have a tensioned barrel system that doesn’t even use a piece like that. Very weird…
@ViciouslyFish Жыл бұрын
Ahh the new m3s get a updated tensioned barrel system that’s easier to install and uses that barrel band piece.
@longrangescience Жыл бұрын
Ya it was interesting but I didn’t know different so I thought that’s just how they were. I thing the vents weren’t lined up so I was getting hardly any air pressure actually into the barrel causing really slow velocities and consistency issues. It does look like that block is part of a new update so I might have to add a tension barrel soon. But I think I got it fixed now so I need to go get all my air refilled and see what it can do. I still love the gun and can’t wait to get it right. But I’m also having a problem with my tank, when I unscrewed it, it dumped all the air. The stop valve isn’t working and it will leak until empty.

I hope this doesn’t put a bad taste in your mouth with fx airguns they are bad ass weapons as you know I hope you got this figured out and your back to rockin!

I think everything looks good now and I called em just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything and didn’t cause any damage. Need to get some more air next week and then we’ll see how it goes. This kinda sucked to have right off the bat, but it’s not to big of deal and I can tell I’m still gonna love the gun. And now I get to see what it’s really capable of

Someone didn’t put your barrel properly. Also you must have really tightened your moderator on the shroud as you actually separated the end cap of your shroud from the shroud at your moderator

There is a barrel named Lothar Walther.

FX??POI????we talk about 2000 euro+ guns..my 875 euro gun with Lothar Walther barrel ..has no POI at all????i can bump barrle..i can swing it in my car ??but a 2000 euro+ cant do it??and then i read this .😂😂 If youre shooting anything over 500mm barrel length, you have to stiffin/stabilize the barrels on any FX platform..we talk about a 2000+ euro gun ..ow boy..350 euro guns like the snowpeak m25 dont have these problems..I stop saving money for a 2000 euro fx rifle ..very nice clip.

someone in Sweden messed up your gun!
@Fernando_Woolybooger Жыл бұрын
Um. No. You need to take a while and learn how to properly assemble your M3. What you are calling the "barrel" is the shroud. The barrel is inside. Under the barrel locking nut. READ the manual. The ports on the brass end are labeled "P" for pellet and "S" for slug. OMG. READ. This is painful to watch.
@longrangescience Жыл бұрын
Lighten up man. I’ve had the gun for a week. Obviously said I’m new to air guns and don’t know all the components or interactions. I posted a video shooting it, something was obviously wrong with it, so I wanted to update everyone with a very high level follow up as I tried to figure out what was going on. I read the manual for how to adjust the ports and valves. But really, who reads manuals haha

Fx are notorious for not being put together properly and leaking straight out of the factory ☹️ You need to be a FX Geek to own one of these rifles as they are so poorly constructed you will spend more time in the workshop fixing leaks than shooting 😄 Fx over priced over rated pile of junk was the comment from the gun shop owner who had 4 FX rifles on his gun racks brand new and everyone chronographed between 6ft and 8ftlb two leaked and one power adjustment didn’t work. Gunshop refused to stock FX as he had so many upset customers . Get rid of it and buy Daystate 👍

I've had my M3 for 3 years. Thousands of slugs through it and not a moments trouble....but I set it and don't fiddle, twist, change modify or bling it. And as I said in a previous post it's a 15mm grouper at 100m all day long. Someone once said..." Only accurate rifles are interesting " So I must say I'll happily take on a little maintenence if accuracy is the winner.
