Trouble Shooting the Canon TM-200 Printer - Cleaning the Print Head - Changing the Paper

How I unclogged my Canon TM-200 Print Heads after the Blue was Printing Purple.

i got this same machine and one of the black ink nozzles is not working even after multiple cleanings, all the other inks are good its just that black nozzle, im considering doing the soak on the print head but you soaked it for 12hrs?? and no damage? i seen articles, most all suggest cleaning with isopropyl alcohol but soaking for hours in alcohol or ammonia seems like it would cause damage but you had good results?

Yes. I allowed it to soak that long because I placed them in the solution and left. It may not need to be that long.

@@MyeFavors Tried the soak for a few hours. It looked like lots of the ink drained out and I even did a light flush by carefully pumping some solution through the ink head. The solution looked to flow through with no problem but unfortunately it did not fix the issue. Im still getting banding on one of the black inks nozzles as if there is a clog. All the other colors print fine, except the one black ink nozzle. I hate to have to buy another ink head especially since its not clear if the issue is with the print head. Im gonna give it another shot and do thorough flushing.

@@madmedia3380 Maybe soak it longer. Are you using ammonia?

Should you dilute ammonia? What is its concentration?

How could u have suspected the paper? Also, why print whole image when u can already see the colors are incorrect? You would better off cancel the print once you notice a problem, it saves you paper and ink...😊

What happened, it was printing normally for a while, today I went to turn on the machine, only the light on the panel came on, the display was off, I already changed cables, I looked at the source and I didn't see anything abnormal, which could be Canon tm 200 Button lights up but does not turn off or light up the panel If anyone in the group has been through this or has any suggestions

Wow. That’s storage. I haven’t experienced that one. And you have the power cord hooked directly to the wall or a power cord?

@@MyeFavors Yes, it turns on normally, but the panel doesn't light up
