It's funny you mentioned Peter should have sang 2 Young 2 Die. I bought the cd when it came out and it took me several times of listening to it to realize that it wasn't Peter singing!

Great review! This album is top notch, I think if it had been released before second sighting it could have helped sales! I honestly dig all the Ace releases a lot, yes I drink the blue kool aid! This album is 4 stars for me! I remember the town I live in used to have what was called top 5 at 9; Do ya was number 1 or in the top 5 for weeks at one point! Yes I called in a lot lol! I don’t think the record company was pushing the album much! I mean zero posters at the record stores or hardly any press for it! I do remember a local store called fountains having a drawing for a signed Ace guitar! I must have put 500 tickets in that box lol! I didn’t win, but got second! I won a signed by the full band poster ( I still have it)! It was a great time to be a kiss fan during the 80s and early 90s! It seemed kiss related projects were everywhere! Then it kinda died around 94 ish, then the kiss convention which was huge! I remember the tickets being $100 bucks; I was like dang it expensive lol! Well worth it tho! If you haven’t you should review the WOW album by Wendy o Williams it’s the lost kiss album!

I listened to WOW when I did my big Kiss ranking video and wasn't super impressed by it which I never did a proper review. I know people like it and don't wanna rain on anyone's parade.

I've got such a soft spot for this album. I love it, I love Do ya as well. What a bizzare but cool time it must have been for kiss and ace fans with 2 albums coming out less than a week apart. I also wish Peter sang a lead vocal or two rather than just backup.

It was a great time .. I just didn't like HITS after a listen or three. Saw them on that tour though for the first time since 79, so that was cool. I liked Trouble Walkin' much more than either of the Comet albums, plus it had hints of possible further collab with Peter showing up on it. We had hope!!

Well, I have to get this album now lol I love Ace. I have never owned any of his work outside of KISS though. I’m ashamed to say not even his 1978 solo album but did have the KISS logo on it.

My favorite Ace album. Just like his first solo album, this one has no bad songs. Good solid Anton drumming, whup ass solos, and hard crunching guitars. I bought this one at the same time I bought KISS Hot in the Shade and to my surprise, they both have a song in common. Ace had the better solo, Paul had the better vocals and arrangement. Sadly it apparently wasn't enough. No break out hit. No more albums. At least Ace ended the 80s on a great note!

Hi, Sean... Question: with h all the Origins songs Ace has done lately, do you think a blues record might work? Remember Me is great, and I think he should do at least a few more in that style.

Probably Aces last great album. However, apart from a couple of tracks, it's quite dated listening to it today. That said, it's better than the two Comet albums.
