Hi there. I tried the same thing you did but then it says that the game files are corrupted. Plus I deleted the .minecraft folder from the appdata folder and redownloaded Minecraft but the same thing is occurring. Can you tell what might be the problem? I really want to play this game and I due to that file corruption message, I am not able to download it at all. Plus can you tell how to download additional files for Minecraft cus I had downloaded Minecraft a long time ago but I had to delete it to add a new D: system.
