my problem is the valve does not shutoff all the way...could it be possible it has build up in the pipes.

How do you manually open the Maxon valve

Thanks for the video. The problem I experienced was from the indicator the valve attempted to open got half way down and then shut. The cycle repeated before it shutdown completely. Is this the way it Wud look infield if something was off with the switch or spring. I did hear the motor.

+Mr FiXiT At the 3:14 mark in the video, I describe what it would sound like if the switch set fails, which would behave very similarly to what you described (valve tries to open, then closes, and recycles continuously). I’d take a closer look at your switch set to see if the actuator wand needs to be adjusted or if the switch needs to be replaced.
