Why would the printer itself be recognized but the scanner on the 3 in 1 printer scanner fax but is not recognized

Probably drivers not installed, most of those 3 in 1 combos need the manufacture driver software to recognize the scanner portion of it. I know at least HP does.

If it is an HP printer and scanner try using the HP driver download tool or print and scan doctor. You are likely missing the scan driver and have the printer driver only as mentioned.

First thing to look at are Drivers (updating the most revent driver, by obtaining the installation file through the manufacturer's website, and then trying the feature) If updating the driver doesn't work- check the email contiguration for the printer. (Printers scan to another email- using it's own personal e-mail. It could be the printer doesn't have an e-mail assigned to it. So it's "lost" of what identity to use to scan.

Certainly! Sometimes, an issue occurs when I insert the printer's IP address, complete the connectivity setup, and proceed to print a test page. During this process, the page is misaligned or printed multiple times. and the actual printer name does not come and the name comes by "any desk ". kindly tell me the solution please Thank you

What if the printer prints out splotches of yellow ink all over the page? I have to print the same page many times before it lets up. Very annoying. I'm using an Epson Workforce Pro 4630
