One more thing to keep in mind is air quality. If it is dusty or really humid that will alter your cut quality too. I noticed a significant difference between using this in my basement versus upstairs.

I have the not cutting 1/4" mdf. I've used the GF setting but nope. Got to recheck my lenses.

@@bethann2769 what do you mean by it coming out sideways? If the laser head is bent and cutting at an angle you will most likely need to contact glowforge support.
