pp130: I removed and cleaned the combustion and convection fans and emptied the hopper last spring and vacuumed the auger. When I refilled and tested it today, it took a few minutes for the pellets to reach the firebox because the auger was clean. But I could hear the auger motor running intermittently as normal. It's working perfectly now. Opening it up and cleaning it last spring taught me a lot about the stove. Good stove. Glad I bought it.

Bought a pelpro 60 a month ago. Been running 3 weeks. The black smoke is the worst. No matter what I do it won’t stop. Cleaned it again last night, before bed I saw the glass was completely black again. There is a coating of soot is on everything, you can see every stud in my walls and ceilings. Breathing in this soot can not be healthy! My last pellet stove never smoked like this. Bought a new stove to combat fuel prices and as of right now this has been the biggest waste of money.

Bought the cast-iron PP c90 stove figured it would be able to buy had nothing but problems since the first start up now sitting here diagnosing it again looks like it might be the board would not recommend buying

Had mine 2 years now. Last year the controller board was $311 to replace, this year it is $333. Remember to add the new controller board to your budget every year as they don't last more than 6 or 8 bags of fuel.

Auger jams all the time, regardless of the pellets, you use if you run out of pellets, it’s very difficult to get the stove started again even following the instructions they provide in the owners manual, I would recommend not buying the stove it is not ready for prime time I had to drill holes in the bottom of the basket just so ample airflow would keep the stove running otherwise it was very finicky

On the PP130, is there a chart that details a temperature per selected number on the dial control? ie 68°F/20°C on 2, 70°F/21°C on 3, etc? What is is the thermostat looking for? Seems random.

I would never buy one of these stoves and will tell others not to buy them the man I care for is a dav in his 70s no heat 3 days and commercial is disgraceful and shameful

Unable to start mine,yellow light flashes for 5 minutes & it trips my GFCI breaker. It's my second winter with it in my cellar, lost pipes & have no water. I'm a 69 yr old DAV, Don't buy any stove from TSC, all junk.

@@pelprostoves6142 Like was said in a post above be sure and keep a spare control board on hand at the cost of 350.00 . The fuse in it is worthless, if it pops the fuse it smokes the control board and thats the answer to all of the issues and it even says it in the manual, Replace the componant and the board- rediculous. When they were dansons cci stoves they were good. I would not recomend.

they are junk. Customer service sucks. These stoves all have a myriad of problems. Even when running, they do not burn efficiently. The controls don't reduce the amount of pellets burned per hour. A colossal rip off is what they are. And that's before into getting into how much dust they create in your house. Horrible, horrible product.

My pelpro 130 has no power….its not the main breaker or receptacle. I plugged in a light so I know it’s not the power source. Does that mean the motherboard is bad!

My stove feeds pellets constantly at a high rate. Adjusting dial to low has no effect. When starting unit it feeds a ton so when it does fire up it smokes like crazy. Help

I ran into a similar issue. It kept dumping pellets and wouldn't ignite them. What happened was, I had cleaned out the fire pot, but then I did not place it back into position properly, which didn't allow the igniter to reach the pellets to set them on fire. I think I had put the fire pot in backwards actually. It was a simple fix for a silly mistake.

This recently happened to me after a power outage. When I turned it back on the auger wouldn't stop feeding. I ordered a new circuit board and it works perfectly now. I tried the little blue dial for the trim but didn't do anything it just kept overloading the hopper.

Pp130 i have it wont drop pellets. Put new feed motor in it. Still didnt help. So dont know what to do. 😊

You will need to make sure your hopper lid switch and vacuum switch are working and make sure the stove and venting are completely clean.

MY PP60 WILL NOT SHUT OFF, IT WILL BURN UNTIL IT IS OUT OFF PELLETS OR I TURN THE CONTROL DIAL TO OFF. I REPLACED CONTROL BOARD,VAC SWITCH,TEMP PROB,CLEANED EVERYTHING IN THE SYSTEM. DOSE ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH IT. PLEASE NO SMARTASS RESPONCES. I NEED REAL ADVICE. THANKS

@herbertchaffin74 Did you find a solution? Mine is doing the exact same thing and I replaced EVERYTHING and cleaned EVERYTHING just like you. I even changed the snap disc and just ordered a new wire harness for the control board! Only difference is MINE WILL NOT TURN OFF! I literally have to turn off the surge protector or unplug the unit to make it turn OFF. The SCARIEST thing is that it turns ON and RUNS when turned OFF if the surge protector is on or the unit is plugged in.
