At this point in his life, he has absolutely nothing to lose and that’s makes him potentially dangerous to everybody around him. I don't think that the OWN Network executives are not aware of what Carlos is allowing Martell to do. I believe that once they get the full picture of not only Martell's ratchet behavior, but Latisha's, Destiny's, Marsau's and Carlos'....they will pull the plug on this show. Mel need to follow her mother's actions and start a paper trail with the police, Carlos' production company as well as the executives at OWN.

I remember watching a Dateline and an estranged father convinced his child to sneak and unlock a door before bed without the mother knowing. He later snuck in and killed the mother. I'm not saying this is the case with Martell and Melody but these incidents are giving the same energy. Mel already said he uses ice cream to get info from the kids. We can trust our children but kids can feel disloyal to a parent, and be easily manipulated.

His background is pristine…very much like “Obama” and “Booker.” He’s charismatic, he’s handsome, he’s also beloved in the community by both Black and White folks. Martell thought he was hurting Devyn, but his stunt got Devyn national attention. He now has new supporters.

What happened to the councilman almost happened to me at the supermarket. I was purchasing a pair of headphones and did not see it as I unpacked my cart. I was not caught but returned to customer service and paid for it. It is unfortunate that you can be charged for that. Sometimes, things fall into the corners of your cart.

Walmart is going through great lengths to make self checkout work. They are literally prosecuting people over cans of green beans when they have purposely took jobs away from people. You’re close but not completely right. Mel has already confirmed that those phones are not allowed in her house, she knew what was up. He might have been able get a better hacker to hack her phone this time. It might have been a trap to prove he’s getting info somehow. Her family and friends confirmed that he’s hacked her phone before, he attacked a producer on the show Mel did, and he keeps having these outbursts online. I do agree Carlos needs to do something. If the rumors are true about him popping up at the kids party over the weekend that shows he’s hanging on by a thread and is moments away from snapping.

But someone responded to my comment and said more like people she think are over reaching. My response to that piece was, would you want your X-HUSBAND to do the things that Martell's doing to Melody? if this man is harassing her and their children, sneaking up on her having lunch with a friend, hiding in bushes, going off on the set, exposing information about her and this man, ETC. Councilman Devyn Keith's statement is something you rarely see in men and never in a politician. He went on further to praise the professionalism of the Walmart workers and local police. This young, articulate, purposeful black man took accountability for a mistake and apologized to his constituents. I'm definitely a fan. Thanks to the person who "outed" the councilman in an attempt to "shade" or embarrass him. Your commentary is very interesting and informative. I like the fact that you have receipts. You came in with angles I didn't think about. It's painting a really bad and sad picture of what this family is going through. Once those kids become teens/young adults they may begin to act out. Melody tried to get a restraining order a while ago and it was denied. She tried to get one when he beat Tank and that was denied too. She went to the police when he bugged her phone and nothing. It’s Alabama y’all. They don’t protect women in ANY capacity. Early in the divorce Mel said that she had to hire protection and people were commenting saying she was overreacting. Let’s not forget that he charged her in Vegas and had to be restrained by Marsau. Let’s not forget that he filmed and harassed her on a date. Alabama doesn’t take domestic violence/abuse seriously. Authorities only act after the fact. In my situation, I thought that we were doing child exchange at the police department. I was told by the police chief that this was not possible because it would be a liability for THEM!! I instead had to meet with my ex on the side of the building.
