Thanks man! It’s been fun learning new techniques to rip Trout in, especially from a boat. I’ve only ever fished Big Bear from shore for the past 20 years, so it was a huge blessing to get out there and learn something new! Thanks for the support, we got to hit Silverwood sometime soon 🤙👊

@@ReelTimeWithTimm yeah I have only fished from shore at big bear, decided to try troutfest for the first time this year. The last two weeks I was practicing from shore at the Red House and was doing well from 3-5 fish per day. I was thinking I would do well and decided to get a boat for Saturday. Started in front of Red House and Dam area to start and then by Boulder Bay. Got skunked. Fished Red House by shore on Sunday and got skunked. I was so disappointed. Better luck next year lol! It was still a good experience.

@ChristopherAlvarez111 Nice bro! I still love fishing from shore especially Big Bear! I fished 10 times from boat before the Troutfest and caught atleast one fish per trip. All of the fish were smaller though, but still fun with nice action. The techniques were very different from boat vs shore, but I learned a lot…. My biggest Trout only being 2.42 lbs., but the biggest fish of the derby was 3.40 lbs. I’m glad you got out there as it was a very nice experience! Good luck out there on your fishing adventures 🤙👊
