TROUT FISHING close to the border between Sweden and Norway

Another video about trout fishing, this time in the river! I am on vacation traveling in Sweden with my family and today I am near Sälen close to the border between Sweden and Norway for trout fishing in the river. There is also European grayling here in the river. Could not catch any European grayling but I managed to catch some brown trout. I was trying different lures for brown trout fishing: bug wobblers/crankbaits, rainbow trout wobbler/crankbait, and classical spinners. The weather was pretty nice for trout fishing. One week before the rain chilled slightly the area and hopefully refreshed the fish, so I was hoping to manage to catch some brown trout or European grayling. I managed to catch one brown trout with a spinner and then stick to this lure till the end of my fishing.
My gear:
- Fishing rod Okuma Psycho Perch UFR Spin 7'7'' 230cm 3-18g - 2sec
- Reel Daiwa 18 Ninja LT 2000.
- braided main line with a diameter of 0.12 mm, fluorocarbon leader with a diameter of 0.4 mm and a length of 2 m.

- Blue Fox Vibrax Shad - Perch no. 2 (6 g)
- Rapala Countdown Rainbow Trout 5 cm (5 g)
- Salmo Lil’ Bug Green Bug 3 cm (4.3g)
- Salmo Lil’ Bug Ladybird 3 cm (4.3g)
- Salmo Lil’ Bug Pearl bug 3 cm (4.3g)
- Salmo Lil’ Bug Green Bug 2cm (2.8g)

Thanks, it was a great experience. The ruller is quite rough. I've never used it so far 😁. I measure by eye quite well. I use another ruller for precise measurements. This one I would say is for beginners.

Thanks! Some people like listening to the sound of nature, here every single splash, sound of reel brake... But overall, I agree, I prefer to have music as well and try to balance. It is just harder to match music to the viseo. It is basically more work to do

Hy bro, I would like to try on river and lake Sweden close to Lysekil, i see that there is lake where is allowed without license as Vanern or Vattern, seeing that is quite close lake Vanern to me,do you have any recomandation sport or how to try getting go there? Or there is a river on my area where i can try my skills 😉? Thx!

Hi! I have never fished there, so can't really advice anything. I just know that Lysekil is very nice place for sea fishing, mackerel comes there earlier, so if in Gothenburg it is middle of June, in Lysekil it can be the beginning.
