TROUT fishing in a stream - HUGE surprise!
Welcome to the stream fishing saga, I will share with you the discovery of unknown streams!
You have to know how to fish correctly and adapt to the desires of the moment of the fish. This is why fly fishing and toc fishing are techniques that allow you to easily adapt to the conditions of the moment. By fishing for trout with toc, for example, it is possible to fish with worms, and if the day looks bad, it is then possible to tempt trout with a ringworm or a wood holder.
In my case I would go on a kind of TOC with my very short UL rod, which greatly facilitates my movements and my positioning.
Varying the baits allows you to find the catch of the moment, because as with humans, trout has its little preferences as long as you need to find it. You also have to know how to adapt to the multitude of parameters that make up the river, the season, the altitude, the depth of the posts, the weather, the fishing pressure, etc. It is by combining these factors that one is able to fish at best, and thus more able to make the difference compared to other fishermen. It is sometimes better to drive 1 hour to fish a small river where you are practically alone than to be the fifteenth in the river next to your home! On the bait side, if it is necessary to give broad lines, it is preferable to fish for trout with earthworms during periods of rain, during large hatches, the pataches are an excellent bait. When the waters are high in autumn and spring, fishing for trout with lures and minnows gives good results and when the waters are low and clear, logs will be inevitable.
What I would try to show you throughout this saga!
I am happy to share with you my first Ombre au "TOC"!
See you soon!
