Trout Fishing: New Color Yo-Zuri Pins Minnow (2019)

We had an opportunity to test out a new color of the Yo-Zuri Pins Minnow, which will be release in the Fall of 2019, at Yellow Creek Trout Club in Central Pennsylvania. Love when I find videos from Pa. Not a trout fisherman at all but have one the best trout fishing rivers in the state. The Lehigh River. It's time to start fishing trout from December through the end of March. Great video!

I am an old Canadian trout old timer. Over 60 years pursuing Mr Smartie Pants Browns. My favourite baits are Yozuri Pinns Minnows. The 4 inch brown trout pattern is cocaine addictive for large fish. Try fishing up stream with stealth. Best angles to fool Mr Brown are up and across current. Try a 60 degree angle and as soon as lure touches the water have bail closed and bait quickly buzzing back to you .Browns can out swim your fastest retrieve, so reel quickly fast then pause briefly and repeat this cadence. If no strike change to cast and retrieve with constant speed . Usually one of these methods will produce vicious hook ups.

Floating or sinking? Which is better fellas

Use pin minnows in ny trout streams and have for the last 8 years. Like the guy says in the video, treat it like a jerk bait the fish cant help but attack. I cast at about a 45 degree angle upstream work down. Have caught all my biggest browns on them. Baby bass color seems to work best for me. Great baits!

Ive had luck with my pins by simply casting it along a shore and reeling it in very fast. Doesn't work all the time but sometimes when nothing is else it working only that technique will get em to bite. Caught a pretty nice about 17 inch brown recently doing it.

Was the water up? Trout love to hug the banks in blown out water. I once saw 2 old guys catch their limit of steelhead in an hour literally 18" from the bank when nobody else was fishing.

I am having issues upon catching brown or any trout on Yo-Zuri lures. I have SP, F, S, and the list goes on. I am fishing in a river that is flows pretty well in Rio Chama, New Mexico. The Walleye Yo-Zuri lures work amazing! What is the best technique to use for such lures? I know I’m the issue and want to resolve my mistakes. Thank you for your time! Any help will be appreciated.

The pins minnow in the 2" non rattle floating are my favorite! I own at least fifty and largemouth love the brook trout color! I fish them on 4 lbs mono, non stop jerk all the way in. I crush it in urban lakes with so much pressure and land big bass! There's nothing like getting hit by a 7lbs largemouth on light line with a 2 inch lure! Go grab some!

Pin's minnow was one of my first lures to buy when i started spinning. As soon as i saw that chrome to blue it was love at first sight

I think that yo-zuri needs to make the little snap bean into a floating model instead of a sinking one. Don't get me wrong the trout does go nuts over them butt because of the sinking, a lot of times we all get caught up and wind up losing the lure. So I think be better to make those snap beans as a floating model.

My dad caught 2 23 in browns less than 10 minutes apart with one, its not like its common where we fish, they were both trophy fish, 4lbs
