What kinda set do you use? I bass fish a lot. I waied for smallmouth, would a 7'1" mid light with 6 pound fluorocarbon work.

If you can fish it during the week its better. Ever since they put the primitive campground on the website to book spots it gets crowded all summer long on weekends. But if you are willing to walk there are always some secluded spots

I have only caught browns in that river. I saw a kid pull a 26" brown just south of the island below the covered bridge some time in the late 90's. Still catch browns in the smaller tributaries north of the lake.

Correct. They dont stock the briwns but there are some monsters still in there. Caught a 22 and a 26 a fee weeks ago. Rainbows are all over. If the trout are slow. There are saugeye and musky in here too and let me tell you. Musky in this river on light tackle is a blast

Hey guys I'm in AZ tried using your salmon eggs in our creeks sometimes they work i know every climate and waters are different, what product of yours would you recommend I use?

Hi Dane, Only the trout can truly answer that for us. All of the salmon eggs are effective anywhere trout are found, when presented properly. Which egg is best can change in an instant. If you get a chance search "Pautzke Arizona Trout" on KZbin. You'll find a dozen videos filmed in your backyard.

Generally an early spring and late fall stockings. Rainbows slow down mid summer but the browns still hitting good. Caught a couple over 20" a few weeks ago. I will be down there sunday
