Well...over the last week, and with this vid, I've just finished watching your entire catalogue. I've fished all my life, camped/kayaked/hiked, but only the last couple of years (and now a couple of months off turning 55) ventured into firearm ownership, with the aim of bringing wild game to my table, (albeit now needing a step up in calibre). I'm yet to venture out and do so but...having watched all your vids, I feel like I've just finished 12 years of premium education. Hats off to you Profty, keep up the great work. On a side note, as a burgeoning, unrelated content, youtuber myself, I haven't gone beyond entry level vlogging cameras, along with of course the essential go-pros. But it seems you've used the same main camera all the way through, and I ain't got nothin' like that 65x zoom...I need that feature! All the best you to mate 👍

Thanks for all the hard work bringing us along on another fantastic mission cobba. Love south west Tas and I've been waiting for you to follow up after losing that monster sea runner last trip. I felt your pain on that one. Hey the upbeat acoustic outro music from some of your videos always reminds me of a song called "Perfect Timing" by the Drive by Truckers. I'm hoping that if you haven't heard the song you might really like it and that in some small way I can gift this knowledge to you as a thankyou. Maximum respect.

you probably don''t know but Khancoban is getting ocean trout soon in the pondage. the Gaden trout hatchery is doing a trial for tiger trout and if that is a success they will switch tiger trout with the ocean trout and put them in the Khancoban pondage.

Nice video mate.. I caught some salmon in Surprise bay when I did the south coast a few years ago.. planning on heading back soon with a trout rod. What time of year is the sea run down there? Reckon you can pick them up in other creeks all year round?
@AussieBushHarvest
@AussieBushHarvest Жыл бұрын
So the Run would peak within October, I’d say that resident fish would be pretty reliable in New river and there’s the potential of good fishing in the lagoon itself during warmer months if they’re rising. South Cape creek also has potential, it’s a hard creek to access though except for the pool behind the beech, wading it is a bit dangerous, I found a sink hole in there, but I’d say there’s certainly a chance at a big slob brown in there
