Awesome hunt Profty. Bloody shame you stacked the ute but you hit the nail on the head with rolling the dice. Spend a lot of time on crappy roads and something will eventually catch up with us. Glad you had some good mates to help you out.

Hey amigo. Mate as i shared recently, i got jammed up in a state forrest and learned how a little moisture on a dirt track is a game changer. I literally just sold my Kia sedan and bought an oldish 4x4 Rodeo (Isuzu engine). looking forward to cutting my teeth with that, in low gear. Glad you are alright bro, sincerely. Scarey shit when you are upside down, reminds you your human real quick. What a great video besides. The mist, the rain, the native Aussie canopy. Bloody utopia, and on our doorstep. I've got a state forrest trip planned two weeks away, and a private property adventure planned in april. Be safe Profty, super job as always.

Oh man, hope it all worked out alright in the end. It's nice to know that there are people who are willing to come out and help during times of need. Keep your head up, you've learned a valuable lesson, and I'm sure you won't make the same mistake again. Thank's for posting the video, the camera angle on the kill shot was crazy. You really have mastered the art of recording these experiences while on your own. The patience and self control you showed to get into a good position was really good, and you have really improved with staying calm when a deer is in your sights. Thanks again and stay safe Profty.

Fortunate escape and fantastic deer, Profty. We've just moved to the Bega Valley, and on our 100 acres we've spotted at least one large family group of fallow - does and this year's fawns. I'm still waiting to hear a buck get loud and the trail cameras I've put in haven't spotted one yet.
