I think the thing I love so much besides the soul-soothing storytelling is the rich, vibrant colours in what seems to be a washed out instagram filter world these days. To me, this is much more 'cinematic.' Thanks team, keep it up.

Being from England, it's interesting to see New England. The complaining about the rain is very English🤣. The stone bridge is as well. The hills are similar, but the big difference is the amount of trees. When the Pilgrim Fathers set out to America in the 1600s, England would have been a lot more forested, and similar to New England, than now, but even then, a lot of the woodlands had been lost over the centuries, from the Bronze Age onwards, and all the hills would have been moorland, like they are now. There is a lot of 'rewilding' schemes and large scale forests being planted at the moment, so in the future I think parts of Old England, will start looking more like New England. The other big difference is that New England has a population of 15 million compared to 55 million in the England part of the UK (69 million total) Britain is the same size as the state of Oregon, so we are, unfortunately, very crowded.
@TroutandCoffee Жыл бұрын
Interesting to hear the comparison!
@njpringle Жыл бұрын
@@TroutandCoffee It looks such a lovely region of America! I think if you ever make a trip to Old England with your narration and camera work, you could make a great video if you went to some of the cosy villages, castles, and seaside coves etc.
