I recently moved and downsized to a studio from the one bedroom apartment. Got rid of a lot of stuff. Closed the door on a career that was not for me. Threw away all of the books and study notes connected with that. It’s freeing to disconnect from what no longer works. Change is good once you get used to it. Getting rid of the home gym was the best idea, it put your whole goal in motion. That is so great! I loved this video so much, Kyle, l just had to watch it again. And Ally has added so much to your life, it’s so good that she is your partner. Love to you❤Charis

Love your cat. I hope you cat goes to the cabin with you. 💗 My apt is only 450 square feet with no outdoor space. I can barely stand it with 2 people. It wasn't so bad when I had "my cabin" 4 hrs north of the city to go to, but during the pandemic the owners (it was at a solo retreat center) closed and lost money so they are selling it. Your place looks great. I changed things around during the Big P but now I am re-thinking the colors in the living room/eating area/my office/my meditation space. And tossing at lot. At 72 yrs. I don't need all those yoga and meditation books. I've been teaching for 27 yrs. so I think I can donate most of those. 💗

Looking at your fantastic plants I had to pause and see how much mine had grown...I have the same kind, those leafy vines -don't even know their name tho they are so common. Wonderful stuff! I am still working on getting my new space completed. I have painted the office and changed the layout of the Master bedroom. I have installed a new garbage disposal, dishwasher, and hvac unit. I have trimmed limbs and hedges, cleaned out the greenhouse, and planted the seeds for the garden too soon. We also have several other projects planned for the soon future. Great video! Thanks!

Awesome! Great job! I'm a professional artist/painter, former fashion illustrator in NYC, floral designer, composer/pianist and have some of the same elements in my home as well. Natural wood, butcher block looking kitchen counters, plants and white walls. Have the same stackable washer/dryer as well! And the wooden dish rack! Your place is also cozy, too! Between all the things that pile up over the years, one needs to re-decorate and bring the light and great outdoors in! Books, canvases, collectibles all add up etc. I'm always thinking how I can "Zen" my place as "less IS more"! Best of luck in all your creative endeavors!

( in the last 4 to 5 years) Even though we are on considerably different live paths and different ages, my change came after leaving a relationship of 20 years!
