This blower was found out for the trash. Let's see if we can fix it or is there too much damage? Troy-Bilt blower diagnosis.

I've gotta give you a shout out, but for an entirely different reason not at all related to this video. In some weird, boneheaded way, the drawstring of my sweatpants got sucked into my blower fan (If you can see the visual, imagine a leaf blower hanging on to my pants, near my crotch. Definitely a story to tell at parties. LOL!). After I cut the string, I had no clue how to get it out. I got a $75 quote from a local small engine repair shop, which I thought was insane. I've been looking all over the place for a simple DIY, and watching your video gave me the confidence to do this simple repair. Now my blower works as good as new!

By the way you were ripping into that thing from the beginning, Greg, I knew you already knew it wasn’t going to be repaired. Glad you mentioned the muffler should have been the first thing you took off - that and the crankcase cover would have been first for me. Actually, if I wasn’t sure about the fuel I would have pulled the plug first to confirm it wasn’t hydrolocked.
