I'm glad you ended up tilting the camera down after a little bit. I was sad I couldn't see the trail. awesome work.

Yea, sorry about that, it's a new gimbal and I'm still getting it dialed in
@bkxc8 жыл бұрын
I've lost some really good footage because the damn thing was pointed too far up or down. The gimbal giveth and the gimbal taketh away.

@The_Sampler8 жыл бұрын
yooooooo thanks dude! Hell yea, I love hearing that viewers are from all over. How's the riding in Chile? I heard it's dope!
@DanteHTID8 жыл бұрын
TLDR: Yeah man! Chile has a big variety in terms of geography ranging from mountains, volcanoes to rainforest and islands and type of events (some of them are at international level) . Me as a novice, I've been doing some riding on the easier local trails and fire trails on my XC bike lately :D Thanks to the huge variety of climates and terrains people of different disciplines get motivated to go out and ride. Also we've got events for all tastes: For downhill we got an international competition called: Valparaiso Cerro Abajo Which is a crazy urban downhill event with riders from all over the world and big sponsors. For enduro, Chile has been part of the Enduro World Series during the last few years. This year's stage was in Corral town which is close to where I live. Also lots of smaller events keep happening all over the country. For XC I know of a couple of international events. One of them held around a Volcano and with over 1000 riders (Conquistando el volcan osorno) and the other one held in my city called XCO Copa internacional which is sorrounded by native trees. Those are the few I know of :D

@The_Sampler8 жыл бұрын
Thanks dude! It really is majestic. Carbon wheels are holing up to some serious abuse thus far which I am impressed with.
@bullseye01128 жыл бұрын
that stuff is fun, but I like a little more flow and less tech. Good point, don't go to hot if you haven't ridden the trail, especially in dry loose rocky stuff. Good Video Alex, not sure if I would want the loud hub either. my friend has them and I prefer the quiet I think
@herkusr018 жыл бұрын
Bullseye Fowl Yeah, I like silent hubs better, but I'm sure that if you had hubs that made noise, you'd get used to it

You have some beautiful trails in your area. If you were going to only be able to ride for a day, what would be the top trails to hit in the area? I plan to make it up there for a couple of days over the summer and want to ride the best trails I can while I'm there.
@The_Sampler8 жыл бұрын
hell yea dude! You definitely need to ride at 18 Road. They have some very accessible trails. Then I would say Kokopelli was my next favorite with Horsethief and Mac Ridge.
@22astom8 жыл бұрын
The Singletrack Sampler thanks for taking the time, I will put some research into those. We spend a month or so in Red River each summer and I'm looking for places to branch out to and ride. Your videos have sold me on hitting Salida for sure.
@The_Sampler8 жыл бұрын
Oh man, if you are hitting Salida you gotta get up on the Monarch Crest and ride the whole thing, then Fooses and Greens Creek
