My guard team only has three girls this year and seeing a team with this many makes me sad because how I wish that were us😂

When my school first started guard, there were only two. The season that just ended had seven members. So I understand 😁

When I tried out for color guard in 7th grade (2005) we had so many girls trying out, and when band season started there were 25. My senior year (2011) we only had 6. It’s because as the years went on less and less girls were interested in guard.

My guard had 50 people try out, 34 make it, and 5 drop out during band camp. Be prepared for band camp. We had 5 guard members who stuck with it get injured during the final drill practice. I wish you good luck.
