Good interview with an interesting guy. I was nodding my head in agreement until he got around to naming his trainer. Trainer stats are readily available. His trainer may be a wonderful person but her stats over more than a decade are poor. You will never take your racing stable to where you want it to be without using a better trainer(s). The simple fact is that the numbers don't lie. Good trainers win the vast majority of the races. You can breed and race the best horses but without a good trainer, you will not succeed.
