I shipped them so hard. They had incredible chemistry and were just so much fun to watch together. It’s the first time we saw Nick find someone who really GOT him. Troy as well. He genuinely LOVED Nick and his sociopathic tendencies makes it hard for him to love anyone. There was truly something special between them and I think they both felt it and knew it. And now we’ve lost them both. 😭🤧

I don't know if anyone realized this but Troy only planned on letting Nick and Jake live when he set that hoard on the camp. He even told Nick "this wasn't supposed to happen. He wasn't supposed to die." He went to Nick only and told him only that something was coming to bring Jake. He planned for only Nick and Jake to come and be with him. He probably thought they'd all die together even but he wanted to be with just them.

@@SirCloud the showrunners decided to coz the big bosses wanted Erickson out. They promised Daniel at the start of the season that he could live till season 4, but when Erickson was about to go they told Daniel he will be out, hence giving us that half assed death of Troy. As well as Dilane wanted to be out since end of season 3 which made them killing Nick off that way, they killed Madison off because she wasn't a fan favourite but they did it so badly. If the showrunners just went on with the timeline of FTWD and not jump ahead 700 days just so they can bring the timelines of FTWD and TWD together it would have been great. Imagine the potential that Troy had! His interest of walkers, the apocalypse just two months in so the the threat of the living dead being serious due to the walkers actually being fresh and strong. The potential of making Nick the coolest character he could ever be, Daniel, Strand and Tory were amazing. They could even make it lead up to Alicia carrying the show but giving it at least 2 more seasons instead of making her the only survivor in season 4. AMC fucked up what could have been one of the most interesting series in this age.

Spoiler alert for the final of season 3 and for the first episodes of season 4. I have never cried about the dead of a fictional character. Never. Until I got obsessed with them and both died for nothing. For nothing. I cried so hard I felt sick afterwards which is something that never happened to me. Not over a fictional character. They wasted the potential of their relationship by killing Troy and now, even if Troy somehow survived, he would return for nothing. I wanted to see him and Nick together and honestly, they really share this self destruction that made them to the most interesting duo ever. I wanted to see them together. Either as friends or as partners. I loved both more than I ever loved a character and I am still surprised how deeply their dead hurt me. They had this dynamic and I god, I shipped them more than anything. The way Troy looked at Nick and how Nivk cared about Troy. I just finished watching the whole series and I have to say, after Troy and Nick gone... It wasn’t the same. Nick has alway been one of my favorites but with Troy he became even more interesting. I loved them. I wanted them to die side by side in a battle. I wanted them to be happy together. I wanted them to kill of walkers. I wanted them to have a relationship, what kind of relationship doesn’t care. I will never forgive the people that decided to kill them. They took so much from me. These two had so much potential. I am sorry for the long comment, I just needed to get this off my soul. And in my area there is literally nobody I can fangirl with about them... ^^‘ Thanks for reading.
