In this experiment he sent a current through a wire and realized the first primitive e-motor which had - as all e-motors - an input of electrical energy. The permanent magnet only serves as a tool to change electrical into mechanical energy but does not contribute to the energy itself. The video says, that science is still having discussions about the magnet motor. This is not true. Science is certain that a motor can't be driven alone by permanent magnets, since permanent magnets are not a source of energy. The video also says that the magnet motor of Troy Reed was validated by experts. This is also not true. Troy never let experts examine his devices.

Magnets losing their strength is not the problem at all, since they keep their strength for decades. And mechanical components would not malfunction more than with any other mechanical device. The real problem: if a magnet attracts an object you can gain energy, but to repeat this you have to pull the object off the magnet. Which consumes the energy which was just gained before. Permanent magnets deliver forces but no energy. E-motors can be built with e-magnets alone or a combination of e-magnets and permanent magnets. The 1820-motor was of this type. With this combination permanent magnets help in the transformation from electrical to mechanical energy but don't contribute to the energy.

Those so called magnetic "lines of force" that the iron filings make visible, they supposedly loop back to their own "place of origin". When we did this demonstration in school, I asked the question of where does the loop for the ones in the center go? Do these loop all the way around the whole universe? Only the conclusions based on these laws were wrong, e.g. because something was overlooked. In contrast to complex technologies the "magnet motor" is very simple and if it works or not can directly be derived from laws of physics. Permanent magnets can't drive a motor. For a physicist this is as assured as you can't pull yourself off the ground by pulling at your shoe laces. Those who think that also in this case science may have overlooked something should at least agree, that those who claim to have build such a motor have the commitment to prove this in a credible way, e.g. by having their invention examined by third party experts. But this has never happened. Troy hasn't done it and other similar "inventors" haven't done it either.

Had Troy Reed's energy generator been proven to actually work in a real world test, (where it counts) This would have been in world-wide production. There are many people claiming to have built such machines yet none exist. Even if one person gets shut down by the bad guys it's only a matter of time before someone else recreates a working device. Have you ever noticed that when someone calls you on your cellphone that on average someone else you know will call you roughly at the same time and if you pay attention to this you will notice it happens more often than not. It's a sort of a psychic or spiritual connection or thing that we all have as living beings on some level or another. This same argument can be made about two people designing something based on the same concept no matter if it's a better can opener or a free energy device. What’s the difference between this guy “magnet motor” and a “brushless motor “ like a Tesla motor? “It’s the same old Wine but from a brand new bottle” I don’t know about you but when it was unplugged I could hear the RPM Slowing down now if you put a heavy power load on that motor ,I’m sure it would bring that RPM down much faster to see if it’s a true self sustaining device .

@@silversobe It's pretty clear if you follow the timeline of videos that were produced about him thatTroy clearly says that his motor still requires an outside energy source to keep running. Eventually his interests shifted to his EV's, which ran off of what look like deep cycle batteries in the trunks of the small cars that he used, and developing controllers that optimised battery usage. You can piece together the whole story, but it takes a bit of plowing through all of the footage buried amongst the nonsense that clickbait garbage channels like this one have used to manipulate Troy's actual story.
