I cried my heart out in the theater on this scene. I had lost a friend of mine right before this movie came out to theaters due to a car accident and when Troy said "Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat" it reminded me so much of my friend. Our school is Wildcats, the mascots name is Wiley and our colors are red and gray. Thank you for the memories I have with you Jeffrey. I miss you everyday

Victoria McIver that part honestly made me cry when I watched it, 'cause I remembered that part in the first film where they were in the gym and Coach Bolton said, "You're a playmaker, right? Not a singer," and Troy responded with, "Well, don't you think maybe I could be both?!" And now here they are, hugging it out after Troy announced that he chose both basketball and theatre, and Coach Bolton unexpectedly tells them to get onstage. Brings tears to my eyes!!
