Thank you besides doing this job for reminding people how crucial is choosing friends as not everyone have courage to be disliked. Troy is good person, empathy is shining from his personality ✨️ I'm thinking about him sometimes, he will struggle with opioid addiction for rest of his life , its hard challenge for everyone, my sis was there , I used to take care of her for years after detox. I have never met hard drugs addiction without reason based on trauma, maybe you know what I'm talking about. These people suffered from toxic narcissistic bullying, sex abuse, rape , wars, and much more ,its injustice that mostly took them to that dark river where everyone thinks they can swim, they don't deserve to be called those names, their pain and antisocial life affects our lifes too

It seems a lot of them have just slipped up and let the drugs take over, I know a couple and they genuinely are the nicest people but the drugs get the power over their minds, and it’s sad to see they haven’t had the right guidance in life, they almost just need someone to be with them every step of the way to go through life and keep them off the bad stuff

@@magiccarp3710a doctor gave me 120 perk 10's when I was 19 years old when I pulled my back out. 10 years later and it went from pain killers to heroin and now Fetnyal. Addicts are normal are the nicest people because they understand addiction. If you have never been an addict to anything you will never understand it no matter how hard you try. You don't know what it's like to be dope sick. You don't know what it's like to spend every single dollar you make on a drug just to feel "normal"

Most rehab centers won't allow for packages because of chance of drugs being delivered to sites. Best to wait until Troy is out and ready to start his better part of his life

This is amazing! I’ve been in recovery for 2.5 years and I would love to eventually help others and support those who don’t have any support at home. Good luck, Troy. It’s gonna be hard for awhile and a lot of work but living this addictive live and constantly finding money for our next fix and having nothing is WAY WAY WAY HARDER. If we can survive with nothing and high… we can do wonders be sober. It’s a whole new life. ❤

I was actually excited to get this update and am glad Troy settled into his new environment... hopefully he finds some other inpatients who are maybe further along in their journey than Troy and can offer support and encouragement along with the staff at CBH (In My experience it is the other Inpatients/service users who are the best support in these times - although staff who have personal experience of addiction are a great help too)...
