3:55 When Troye said his face _"feels so dry"_ after he washes is because of a thing called Transepidermal Water Loss (T.E.W.L. for short). This is the idea that your skin when wet basically pulls out the moisture from _inside_ your skin while also pulling moisture from the water on your face as it dries, and considering that he cleansed his skin and left it stripped of moisture long enough to brush his teeth shows that this very clearly took place. You should move right into toner/moisturizer (or whatever your next step is) no more than 60 seconds after cleansing the skin, otherwise, it will become dry. And *yes,* even if you have oily skin, this dryness is bad, and *will not* _"dry out the oil/acne."_ All this dryness does is make your body freak out that all the oil that's naturally there (before you stripped it off) is now gone, so it makes *heaps* more oil to replace the old oil and to help with the dryness, which leads to *more* acne. I learned all this the hard way from professionals, I prob. butchered some of it, but basically, that's the gist of it.
