This was everything I wanted and more! It’s like we’re getting a male perspective. Troye has the perfect voice for songs like this. His tone, the light and the airy quality he uses with a little vocal fry is just so pleasing and yet heartbreaking! People have said this is flat, but I absolutely love the simplicity. It’s funny because we had completely opposite experiences. Was looking forward to watching and listening but realised towards the end that his voice doesn’t emote very well. Comparing to Billie’s delivery of this song which can bring a tear to my eye.. this left me feeling nothing. He just sang the notes and called it a day.. it was flat for me.
