the mount on my 95 S10 is not like this one. are the steps the same?

No completely different. This video is garbage. You'll have to drop exhaust, pull steering shaft, and possibly exhaust manifold for the driver's side. It's so ridiculously tight, expect to spend 8 hours on this job accounting for everything to be previously anti seized. Give yourself 16 hours if your steering shaft is seized and you need to weld it vack together after cut and unseize
