Ok I bought these control arms from you guys through 1A auto and that bolt turns it has an Allen wrench fitting on the bottom with no room to get an Allen wrench in on top of the CV boot. This video shows him just tighten it like it’s nothing.

Might be too late but when it keeps turning just pry down on the control arm so that the ball joint gets stuck in the knuckle as you tighten.

Do not forget to install a cotter pin through the ball joint crown nut.

Might as well change the whole thing out the bushings in the control arm go bad also. But to answer your question no you don't have to change the whole control arm out.

Get a bent tube control arm. Should be about 200 bucks

Replaceable. But they ,at leason my Tahoe, are the type where the rubber boot must be pressed on the ball joints(uppers) also.
